Hi i've lived in Mira Mesa my whole life and through the years i've heard people talking about different ghost stories around town. For example i've heard theres a ghost on montongo and theres suppose to be a story behind it as well im sure there are a lot of stories around mira mesa but i've never really heard em myself. My friends and I have been wondering what some of these stories are and if anyone has any stories from mira mesa to post em thanks
Hey. There are a couple ghost stories i've heard about montongo. one of them i can confirm. i little boy was killed there on a rainy night, by a driver i'm assuming he was drunk and he was speeding but he crashed into a tree and killed the boy. if you look close theres a bushy like tree going up montongo away from mira mesa blvd its on the left side but theres a part of the tree that is sort of dented. i can confirm this story because that kid was my neighbor's son. the second story i heard i'm not sure about but a lady was killed at the very bottom. if you turn off your headlights and put your car on neutral when you go down that hill you can supposedly see the lady @ the bottom. my cousin did this except it was on drive and he saw two cloud like figures coming from the side of the road to his car. i'm getting the chills just talking about it. it was NOT fog b/c other than those 2 cloud like figures that were moving TOWARDS his car and it was only 2 clouds that were about the size of a human not shaped like one though. other than those two clouds it was a clear night.
