I have a feeling that she had a seizure as well and that she couldn't breathe due to that and the security guard may have not been in the same area of the house where she was to hear her struggling to breathe and having the seizure. Also I don't know if it's me but but when I read about her sometimes I will get a sense of not being able to breathe could that be her trying to give me a little bit of information to her death?

In an interview on the premiere of Anderson Cooper's new talk show, Mitch Winehouse says, "There was no one to rescue her."

Amy Winehouse's father Mitch Winehouse explains his daughter's death on the premiere episode of Anderson Cooper's talk show, Anderson.

When Cooper asks if drugs were the cause, Mitch says, "No, the toxicology report….so that everybody knows, I've been banging on about the fact that she hasn’t taken drugs in three years."

Continues Mitch of his daughter, who has undergone rehab several times, "Everyone thought I was in denial, I wasn’t in denial, she hadn't taken drugs. She'd been clean for round about three years….Her problem was alcohol, the last few years of her life. You might argue, 'What's the difference?' The difference is that what happened to Amy wasn’t anything to do with drugs. It might be that drugs took its toll in the early years, but there were no drugs in her system…She was prescribed Liprium, which is a normal drug, which is given to people who are detoxing and it kind of decreases the chances of having seizures. She was continuing to take one of those pill everyday."

I agree with her Dad.

The media tends to put people in a category and never let them out. Amy did not die from a drug overdose and that is truth backed up by the autopsy report.

She has not come to me so I cannot comment on what happened in her final moments.

Hugs,
Bonnie

I listened to Amy's father talking about the toxicology report on her and the absence of drugs in her system except for Librium that is often given to people who are trying to stop drinking. Unfortunately the Librium in her system must not have been enough to prevent her from going into having withdrawal symptoms. One of the most fatal symptoms Of alcohol withdrawal is usually a seizure when people are alone because they can aspirate and suffocate during a seizure activity. Some people who are going into withdrawal and having a seizure may fall and hit their head resulting in death.

This is very sad because it seems like Amy died as a result of trying to stay away from alcohol. After a history of heavy drinking she needed to be under supervision in a detox. Amy died trying to stay sober.

I agree with Bonnie and I agree with her dad also and I still feel that she died of a seizure due to the seizure stopping her from breathing and also I feel that her security guard was in another area of the home then where she was and he couldn't hear her struggling to breathe or know she was having a seizure.

Always sad to see someone so young and very talented depart this plane too soon.

Hi Mike,

I also do not believe that.
This seems to be another made up story in a sad icon´s life to cover up the truth.
That alcohol level could have been confirmed clearly with tests immediately or quickly during or after her autopsy. I think that this is one of coroner´s easiest things to do. Also one can survive high alcohol levels when one is used to them though it might have probably that effect as described above, when you stopped drinking for a while and then drink such an amount of it in a (very) short amount of time - IF you did it - then you might die. That depends I think.
A close relative to me once had also had bit more than 4 promille of alcohol in the blood but survived.
Also the scene in her apartment as described above seems to be arranged.
One could also have prepared the bottles mixed with pure 100% alcohol and she drank that - IF - without knowing it. IF alcohol intoxicarnation is really the reason she died.
Amy would not be the first and the last celebrity to happen this to.
May she rest in peace where she is now and the truth about her death come out.

Warmly,
Ute
