I visited my father who had been quite ill, the next day they called in hospice. Three days later, I was at home when a friend was coming by, and he called me upset that someone was at my house. Said the person saw his car and walked off. I had been concerned about recent burglaries in my neighborhood, but I didn't feel anything this night. I just walked around and checked the windows. No one was there, and he drove around and saw no one. There were no fresh shoe tracks in the snow either. My father passed about 5 hours later. I told my mom and step mom about this, and both believe it was my father. The hospice worker did as well. Stranger yet, my step mom had been giving my dad a bath/shower at about that same time and my brother had said he smiled. She feels that was when he visited. I believe it was him, but not sure how since he hadn't yet passed. If he was there to make sure I was ok, why did my friend see him? My dad didn't not like or trust this friend? Did he know it was my friend or was it he just needed someone to let me know he was here?
