My 25 month old daughter has been waking up around 1:30am every night. She never wants to go to bed at bedtime either. Tonight I went to check on her because she was screaming, "NO! Stop IT! GO AWAY!"
I brought her out into the living room so she didn't wake up my 6 month old, and I started asking her questions. Apparently there's something that is peeking at her and her sister through holes in her room. There are no holes in the walls, floor, or ceiling in our apartment. She said she has to cover the holes with her pillow so they don't see her. They also talk to her, get her toes, her sister's head, and tries to get their brains. She said she's scared of them. When I asked her what they looked like she said no, kissed me, then changed the subject. Not wanting to drop it, I pressed on and asked her again. She told me to shut up because they're in her room and will get her sister.
I'm not normally one to be upset or scared about these kinds of things, but my 25 month old isn't afraid of anything! She will act like a zombie any chance she gets to scare people, have tea parties with the monsters from Monsters Inc, and chase her father and I around because it's funny. She's never been afraid of anything in her life! But, now she's not wanting to go to bed because there's something that's going to get her.
What do you think it could be? As far as I know, no one has ever died here. I have no clue how old our apartment is either. And, I know it's not neighbors making noise because our only neighbor just moved out a week ago.

First thing...try to relax. If you are anxious she will be too.

This needs to be sorted out one thing at a time. Logical explanations must be sought out before going down the paranormal path.

A health screening would be a good first step. Make sure her diet is healthy and that she is not having nightmares or allergic reactions to food.

It seems that she is exposed to Monsters and Zombies from television and films. You might want to change this. Pretend and real is a very fine line at her age.

Keep her involved with activities with the baby so that she does not feel the baby is getting more attention.

You can also set up a video camera in her room. This could provide some key information on what might be going on.

Log the dates and times and what else is going on when these events occur.

Hope this helps!

you could also try researching property records as well if you come to find out there is something paranormal going on and if that is the case also as Bonnie said log the activity and set up a camera and you can also try and take pictures should you sense something around you but the best to do first is to rule out logical things that are not paranormal such as set up a video camera and record what goes on.

Hope this helps.
