I'm not even sure how much people take a look at these boards but thought I'd share anyway.
Back on October 1, 2003 (I know the date because my digital pictures are dated) my wife, son, and I all went down to Old Town and decided to go to the Whaley House thinking it would be a fun and different thing to do.
We went on in, listened to the lasy talk and tell us the history of the house and the hauntings. Afterwards, we all were pretty much free to roam the house as we wanted, except obviously for the blocked off areas. I should also say that I took various photos with a digital camera while in the house.
The only thing that happened while there was in the dining area, all three of us distinctly saw the tablecloth swaying. I still think it can easily be dismissed as other possibilities, but it was still odd to see. There was no breeze at all, and it was more than a simple little movement.
Nothing else happened while there. After getting home, I uploaded all the pictures onto my PC and decided to check them out because of all the things I've read about people saying they noticed things once they got home and looked at them. In one photo I took of the courtroom, there is clearly "something" there. I thought it could have been a trick of the light, but in another picture, this "thing" is clearly not there. The best I could describe it would be as a bright, misty aura that was near, or on, the front right corner of the judge's bench.
To tell the truth, I've always held onto the picture without emailing or posting it anywhere because I've always been afraid someone else would take credit for it. I know it sounds silly, but I was always worried someone would do that.
I've always wanted to go back there, but I haven't had the opportunity since moving a little further away now.
Okay, I hate replying to my own post, but after once again looking at that picture closely, I decided to take a look at all the other photos. I went looking for those orbs that everyone talks about.
First, I came across a picture of the stage and it's set up as the one picture where things were placed differently. I honestly don't remember how the room was set up, so I can't say how it was set up. I tend to believe that is how it was set up as I was there.
Second, and this is the huge one, I looked at a picture of the backyard. While looking for Orbs, I was almost slapped in the face by this picture, shocked that I never noticed this before. Under the stairs, there is an absolutely clear shot of half of a skull. It is a very clear picture and as I zoomed in thinking I would see something different, the image only got clearer to what it was. I immediately emailed it to my friend in New Jersey and he saw it as clear as day right away. As we were talking about it, my friggin' phone went dead. I called him back immediately and he asked if I was pulling a joke on him. I am basically sitting here right now, weirded out beyond belief.
If you go over to the Whaley House pictures page you will see another report of the stage looking different with pictures taken back to back. This was also witnessed by docents at the house.
