Vandals Cause $2,000 Damage In Wisconsin Cemetery With Reputation For Being Haunted

Linda Young - AHN Editor

Clyman, WI (AHN) - Dodge County deputies have increased patrols of the graveyard in Clyman, Wisconsin after a resident reported seeing paranormal activity there, especially at night.

The Sheriff said that incidents of paranormal activity reported by a resident seemed to have caused an increase in vandalism at the graveyard. It has gotten so bad that town officials are considering increasing the fines for loitering from $200 to $1,000.

One incident of vandalism resulted in $2,000 worth of vandalism to headstones.

Deputies have increased patrols of the Eagle Road Cemetery on all shifts, according to reports Monday.

Eagle Road Cemetery dates to the 1800s but no new burials have taken place there in the last 20 years. Paranormal activity is common there and the cemetery is listed in a guide to haunted spots.
