This weekend in Boston there was something strange in the neighborhood and AintItCoolNews.com called on Ghost Buster Dan Aykroyd to answer some pressing questions regarding the third installment to the Ghostbusters series. There has been significant talk recently about a Ghost Busters 3 reality and rumor that the original cast will star! So what did original star Aykroyd say about the picture?

“Script is commenced early summer”, said Aykroyd. “Hope to be in production by late fall 2009.”

While this may not confirm Ghost Busters 3 and Aykroyd’s involvement, it definitely shows that the channels are open and the bustin’ may commence very, very soon!
