"Ghost Adventures" crew refused at haunted "American Idol" mansion

Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures” team of Zak Bagans, Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin won’t be investigating the haunted “American Idol” mansion.

After reports that the “Idol” finalists were living with more than just the Top 10, TMZ reports that Bagans and his two-man crew were ready to scope things out for themselves.

The owner of the home, however, is worried about the negative energy the guys might bring, plus any more negative attention the investigation might bring. Try putting that house for sale in this market…

So it looks like Bagans and company won’t be speaking to the spirits that have sent the “Idol” contestants packing.

They will, however, hit up the Stanley Hotel, the notoriously haunted place that inspired Stephen King's "The Shining," when new episodes of “Ghost Adventures” air on Travel Channel Fridays at 9 p.m. EDT.
