News Channel 5 Goes Ghost Hunting

By Mike Magnoli - Reporter

Late on a Saturday night, it’s quiet and a little chilly outside of Lyod Hall Plantation in Cheneyville.

News Channel 5 has come to this newly renovated Bed and Breakfast-- a historic location-- because Louisiana Spirits, a group of paranormal investigators, has set up some high tech equipment all around this plantation.  Legend has it, that there are some lost souls roaming these floors.  Like the ghost of a Union Soldier who was killed under mysterious circumstances back in the days of The Civil War.  Is the dark colored spot in the attic his blood?

LA Spririts puts the spot to the test, using a chemical spray-- the group also relies on nightvision cameras, audio recorders, and monitors that detect electrical pulses (often associated with spirit activity).

Nothing that we see goes bump in the night, but News Channel 5 has to leave at 1 AM.

In the weeks to come, as LA Spirits analyze their tapes, pershaps they’ll see something that we missed?

We’ll let you know.

In Cheneyville, Mike Magnoli reporting, Who ya gonna call?  News Channel 5.
