Michael Jackson’s one-time manager Frank Dileo is in a Los Angeles hospital fighting for his life after having heart surgery and subsequently experiencing complications, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
Sources close to the situation tell RadarOnline.com that Dileo had bypass surgery on his heart last week and then suffered from complications the next day.

RadarOnline.com has confirmed that Dileo is currently at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, but the status of his recovery is unknown.
“Frank scheduled his bypass to be at Cedars, but after suffering the heart attack, he’s taken a turn for the worse,” the source said.

“Much of his family is in town right now to be there for him. They’re worried, but of course hoping for the best.”
In August 2010, concert promoter Citadel Limited sued Dileo on accusations that the King of Pop’s manager had kept $300,000 the company paid as a fee for performances Jackson was supposed to make in Trinidad and Tobago just months after his June 2009 death.

Citadel Limited claimed Dileo personally accepted fees, which Citadel Limited paid via wire from April 2009 through June 2009.
Sadly, Michael Jackson died weeks later on June 25, 2009 in Los Angeles after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest.
The 63-year-old manager was the executive producer for Jackson’s full-length movie Moonwalker as well as eight music videos including Grammy winner Leave Me Alone. He also managed Jackson’s Bad World Tour and the Jackson family Victory Tour.
Dileo has also managed the careers of Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, Taylor Dane and Jodeci as well as worked with Prince on numerous projects.

Interesting that this happens just as Thome-Thome is subpoenaed and declared Michael Jackson's business manager at the time of his death.
My work computer sometimes does not link to articles properly for some reason, but the following article confirms Frank Dileo as Michael's manager at the time of his death, and the article is from the time of Michael's death.
Radar Online is the only source reporting this story. The rumors are everywhere but I cannot find a reliable source. Even TMZ is not covering it or any other tabloid. Looks shaky to me. I am filing this under rumor until it can be verified.

I just made a call at 6:40 PM Los Angeles time to Cedars Sinai to try to get a confirmation of this "Radar Online" story, and was directed to the nurses station. I explained that I am a Michael Jackson fan and knew of Frank Dileo as Michael's manager and one of the people behind "This Is It" and wanted to know if this story is true and is he all right. The nurse on duty told me that they are not authorized to discuss patients, or the condition of patients, or to verify whether a patient is there or not. In other words, she neither confirmed nor denied the story.

Edited to add: I just read Anna Marie's comments or 'tweets,' and as of yesterday, Frank's condition was improving - he was awake.
My instincts and personal beliefs last Friday suggested to me that Radar Online really did get an exclusive story - quite literally. This story, and I'm assuming it's true, was so exclusive that no other news outlets or gossip sites were able to get more information. After I made the phone call to the hospital and received the information I previously mentioned, I personally believed Radar Online was telling the truth. They must have a contact somewhere who knows Frank Dileo or has access to him to be able to provide that kind of information.
My other thought was that sometimes the truth is not allowed to spread, unlike lies, and that someone put a stop to this story being covered. I'll keep my thoughts on this to myself. But if the story had been about Michael Jackson, and had been lies, half truths and sensationalized, such as the Arnold Klein/ Jason Pfeiffer story, or the story about Michael having been 'chemically castrated' to have a 3 or 4 octave range, THAT would have made the Internet rounds.
In other words, TMZ or some other gossip/ tabloid site could post a story, and that story might be picked up by numerous other websites. The fact that the story spreads like wild fire doesn't make it the truth. Sometimes, the fact that a story does NOT spread and literally almost stops in its tracks can indicate that there is truth to it.
No one from TMZ or any other gossip sites was able to confirm the story about Frank Dileo because the hospital staff was most likely instructed to keep silent about it. RadarOnline may have gotten the inside scoop the same way TMZ got the inside scoop about Michael being dead LONG BEFORE THE OFFICIAL MAIN STREAM MEDIA OUTLETS DID. It's called having an inside source or contact.
On a side note, regarding the ridiculous story about Michael's voice range being the result of chemical castration, the author who has written that book has not taken the time to really listen to ALL of Michael's music. Michael's voice did break, I'm sure, as is normal for all boys entering puberty, but his singing did accommodate his 'new' voice and he sang in a different register (if that's the right term to use). I don't know what may have been done to him by THEM during his childhood and early teenage years, but to suggest that Michael's singing ability and vocal range was not the result of his own God given talents and extremely hard work and highly developed skills as a craftsman is yet another insult and attempt to belittle him. Even his singing ability and voice are now being attributed to something artificial.
The filthy swine out there will never be happy until they have taken EVERYTHING AWAY from him. I wonder who will write the next book, which will of course be about how Michael's dancing ability was the result of something concocted or artificial. I can't wait to see what THEY come up with.
My tolerance level for the garbage being put out there, including but not limited to the topic of Michael Jackson, is becoming mighty low.
