There is additional premise for the song being cited in the following post I have copied and saved here.
I am not sure of the source of the below poster's information. But certainly sounds very much in keeping with what Michael was concerned with during that period of time, if one were to go back and take a closer look at the speeches given at his awards appearances (such as the 2002 Bambi Awards and the 2003 Radio Music Awards) and also the "What More Can I Give" project.

Sometime in the Summer of 2002, Michael Jackson allegedly showed up at Bee Gees frontman Barry Gibb‘s doorstep, with a partially written song in hand.
Entitled ‘All in Your Name,’ Jackson had written the song in protest of the United States government’s plans to invade Iraq, and he convinced his old friend to contribute to it.
Together, the pair recorded a simple demo in Gibb’s home studio, though the song was never officially released.
Now, years later, Gibb’s official YouTube account just posted a sneak peak of the lenegdary collaboration.
The entire recording session was shot on a high 8 camera by Gibb’s daughter. There is apparently “over 2 hours of footage,” perhaps to be released at a later date.
Barry Gibb wrote on his website:
“Michael Jackson and I were the dearest of friends, that’s simply what it was. We gravitated towards the same kind of music and we loved collaborating and he was the easiest person to write with. The more we got to know each other the more those ideas entwined and it all came to this song ‘All in Your Name.’
“‘All in Your Name’ is in fact the message that Michael wanted to send out to all of his fans all over the World that he did it all for them and for the pure love of music. I hope and pray that we all get to hear it in its entirety. This experience I will treasure forever.”
I can’t wait for this to be released, you know it will be good.

As a matter of thought, I wanted to add my feeling that there is many more wonderful things concerning Michael's work and life that will be found over the coming years.
I found an article on the WWW about Ryan O'Neal and his daughter Tatum both having major connections to the passing of two legends — within hours of each other. I am referring to Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. I knew this, but until I saw it in print on this site it never registered as odd.
I learned in this article that Tatum O'Neal was immortalized in Jackson's song, “She's Out of My Life”. I did not realize that this song was about Tatum.
Tatum was molested by men since the age of 5 (five) she states in interviews and her book that just came out yesterday. I believe Michael when he said that Tatum tried to molest him, as the behavior is usually passed on from abused to abuser. Tatum denied being intimate with Michael in several interviews.

I thought I would add this new "The Behind the Mask Project" video created by many of our fellow Michael Jackson fans.
This video was directed by Dennis Liu. Dennis also created the Grammy-nominated "Ain't No Grave" music video for Johnny Cash two years ago based on drawings and paintings of the late singer by fans.
I think this is a wonderful tribute. I only wish I could have been in it. :o)

first - thank you Carmen for sending me the link where I found this link to that video - Barry Gibb and Michael singing "All In Your Name". I am very grateful to have been able to listen to it this morning. Sending chills up and down my whole body. Thought I´d share it with you. And thank you to that person who has posted it on youtube. Plain to see and hear WHO and WHAT they killed on June 25th 2009. For me Michael worked perfectly but if you listen to this song and lyrics.... he would have gone beyond....like he always did...
