Regarding the book, The Connection...I have reread it this weekend. Again, two thumbs up Bonnie. Last time I read it, I think I was really focused on answers to our future. I found when I was watching the videos on Spirit TV, when the Connection was telling us all to do the things that we want to do NOW, I was interpreting it as there will not be a "later". I believe I should have been interpreting it as learn the lessons which you have been sent to this dimension to learn. The day to day, pay the bills, clean the house business is necessary, but is way down on the list of importance. Sort of like when you read an obituary. Your job of perhaps 30 or 40 long years receives one line. The rest is devoted to your family and what you enjoyed in this life. I think it is an interesting way of looking at it. Because when you are living it, we're all so caught up in the job, getting to work on time, thinking about our tasks for the day in the shower, you know. Then, when it comes right down to it, it's really a very small part of your life's value.
Will there be any new Connection postings? I wonder if they have said all they intend to at this time. Just doing some thinking on a day off.

I have had a few dreams with Michael and they all have related to an answer or a direction that I needed. Some gave me surprising information that I was not expecting but, then happened later.
I had one hug from Michael and this is before I knew anything about him. I remember that hug being so intoxicating. It was the warmest and most amazing hug I HAVE EVER HAD! Then he looked deep into my eyes - up very close to my face. It was so comforting and I want another one!
I can remember after this hug I was watching some videos of his concerts as I had never seen one of his concerts in-person or on video. Then I saw how he had hugged the women on stage with him and it was EXACTLY how he hugged me. I was shocked! I had known this was not really a dream but was REALLY REAL if you know what I mean.

That is a great summary, Gem. someone who has done hateful things such as murder, will have to reincarnate until their karma is resolved. Michael Newton who wrote 'A journey of Souls' says that in their next life they will usually have to experience being the victem.

More than likely, in one or more incarnations, we’ve all been murderers and thieves, and the like. That’s what I was attempting to point out. Soul is collective, divine consciousness.
Here are a couple paragraphs from The Spiritual Notebook, a book by Paul Twitchell (pages 93-94):
This is how karma operates with each Soul that inhabits a body on earth. It must experience whatever is possible within that one embodiment, then pass on to another, and eventually go through whatever human situation is possible for each incarnation. We could never experience all situations within one lifetime, so arrangements were made for Soul to have many incarnations—sometimes millions of them—in order to learn as much as possible about this world. When Soul is finished with them, It becomes purified.
Yaubl Sacabi, spiritual head of the great sacred city of Agam Des, once remarked, “There is a difference between the identity of the individual Soul and states of reality [e.g., lifetimes as murderers and thieves]. These states, or conditions, change; but Soul never changes nor ceases to be.” [. . .] Soul never changes Its identity. It only changes Its embodiment in different forms on different planes, until becoming established once more on the Fifth [Soul] Plane.

Didn't know where to post this Bonnie. Hope this is okay. Thank you for being there for me this past week. It has been so difficult. I know you are a very busy woman so I really appreciate you taking the time to give me support.

It hasn't even been a week since my Mom passed over and I feel like I have lived a year. It is such a painful solitary road, but bit by bit I am healing. I feel my Mom Bonnie. I really do. I must thank Michael for the connection I made with her. I lost my Dad when I was 5 yrs old and my Mom was my rock. I always feared her passing and spent precious time worrying about it, instead of enjoying the present. When Michael passed, it affected us both deeply. My Mom and I spent many hours talking about him sharing our thoughts. I would cry with her. She was 94 and I took her to see This is It, she really enjoyed it!! She was hip. I'll Be There, by Jackson 5, is one of her favorites. Anyway after Michael passed, I was able to talk to her about her passing and the after life. I never was able to bring it up before June 25th, 2009. Michael gave me the courage to talk to my Mom and I don't have fear of crossing over anymore. Please, would you thank him for me, he has helped me so much.

My advice would be to continue to talk to our loved one. Pay attention to little signs of their presence and acknowledge them.

My mother died in 2005 quite suddenly. I was with her in the hospital. I helped her. I felt her soul move through me. Just remember there is no death. Its an illusion you think you perceive. I know this because I work with it every day. Even those on the other side get lonely and want a friend to talk to. Talk to your mom and also talk to Micheal. He's still a good listener. We see ourselves as two dimentional beings when we are so much more than that. Let not your heart sink like a stone...

I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost my mother 11 years ago, one month after her 55th birthday. She was my very best friend.
My heart and love go out to you. Words can seem so hollow at a time like this - but I would share with you something I learned. Allow yourself to feel everything you need to. Don't suppress anger if you feel it. Don't suppress tears should you need to shed them. If you let yourself feel every emotion that occurs, no matter how much it hurts, you will find peace.
And yes - keep speaking to her. Odd things happened shortly after my mom's passing - none that convinced me more of her listening to me then one night as I lie in bed - I had a 30 minute conversation with her. At the end I said goodnight and looked over at the candle I had lit on a table. Not wanting to get out of my warm cozy bed, I asked her - if she really was listening - to blow it out for me. "You know how lazy I can be" I told her. She did. And I wept...
Keep the connection with her always...

Thank you for your words of comfort and for sharing your story with me. I will talk to my Mom, she is was one of my best friends too. I am allowing my emotions to run,I don't have any trouble showing them. I am a person who cries when I am happy, sad, or angry so believe me tears and emotions have been flowing.

I read these postings several days ago, and I could not come up with the proper words to describe how sad I am for you. My mom and I have been a two person team my whole life, and I do worry about losing her someday, and that day is probably quickly approaching. I apologize for not speaking up earlier. I am so happy that she gave you a sign that she is there with you. It must have meant the world to you. I hope you have many more moments where you just know it's her. I'm sure she is probably speaking to you in your dreams. I'm wishing you happiness.

Here I go again..thinking. If its true that we all choose our experiences before we get here to learn, whether good or bad, and one can choose to be a murderer or a social worker, depending on what is needed to be learned. Then when we leave here and go back "home". if you will, to the fourth dimension we return back to energy, and one experience is just as valuable as another. So that being said, how does all the information of the "truth of the music business" fall in? The devil worship, "rain man" and the like. Isn't the devil a religion based entity? Doesn't the Connection say that religion is man made here on earth, and really has no bearing on the afterlife? Or did I misinterpret this? All thoughts cheerfully accepted.

You've got kind of a loaded question there.
I am hoping to come back and answer more in depth if I can.
For now I am just going to briefly say that it all has to do with feeding energies - everything around us is ENERGY. We are energy within a physical chemical body.
Spiritually energies can be polarized toward the good/ LIGHT / LOVE vibration or the bad/ DARK / EVIL (DEMONIC) vibrations. To my understanding the intention behind the use of SATANIC practices within the music industry is to feed the dark energies and to polarize individuals on a spiritual level away from the LIGHT.
VIBRATION in this case is defined as the emotional aura of the soul.
My understanding of "HOME" as spoken of by "the Connection" is the dimension of LOVE/ LIGHT where like-vibratiing souls gather.
Those that are fed by the DARK ENERGIES, and as a result are polarized away from the LIGHT to a great degree, may not reach those higher dimensions and may fall into varied vibrational states of the ASTRAL plane.
I hope this makes sense.
Still trying to fully decipher it all myself.

To answer your question, I was drawn to this search by Michael. Before he passed I was a person with a much different frame of reference. I have had a lot of information thrown at me this past year. It has been a fascinating and magical experience; and so far this is what I was able to extract from it in relationship to your question. It is just my personal understanding of this subject. My thoughts about of all this, I am certain, will keep evolving.

I have a lot of trouble believing that we were sent to earth to become, say, a murderer, evil person, etc, to learn a lesson. I do not believe that if we were in the realm of love and light that it would even be a possibility. I think that since we live in a realm of duality, a soul may become influenced by darkness and stray from the path of love/light, thus commiting dark acts, creating a cycle of Karma that must be resolved.

Another very good way of answering the above question. This potential to be swayed away from the path of light is very much part of this dimension we are in. The duality is within us and this is where free will plays a large part as it allows for the possibility for us to be drawn in and influenced.

Hi, I'm interested in the afterlife and have questions.I've been reading the experiences of people who were clinically dead, but revived after 1-5 minutes. I don't have any specific person I want to talk to on the other side. I don't know if this is even a forum question. perhaps there's already a dvd with this material. here goes: when someone passed away, and is in a good position to describe afterlife paradigm, what do they say about things like heaven/hell/limbo/angels/jesus/God/rapture/exorcisms whew! for example, when a good person is possessed, why wouldn't God simply override the demons?
when a second spirit is asked these "big picture" questions, is it consistent with the first?
I read various transcripts of past channeling. Spirit comments always seem vague. "I'm in a good place. Don't worry" etc.

Many of the questions you ask are in the book: Conversations with the Dead - The Connection. This is high level channeled content.
I have another project called Transitions. These are channeled stories from people who have successfully gone through the transition process and are relating their experiences to us. This project may be a feature film or television series.
To answer your questions:
The spirit people I have spoken to do not report any religious dogma. No heaven, no hell, just a place where you are free to create your own experiences. One spirit person who accidentally killed herself did report being in a holding pattern waiting for an opportunity to come back and fulfill her life. Some may call this limbo, but it seemed to be a timing issue not a punishment. I personally have had no experiences with demons. The Connection did report lower energy beings do exist and quickly left the topic. The sense is this is an area better left unexplored by the listening and reading audience.
It was reported by The Connection and the individuals who came forward in the Transitions Project that each person's experience after death is unique to them.
There does seem to be a base process of: being greeted, a determination being made about readiness for transition, if the answer is no, then a holding pattern or the person is sent back to their life if their body is viable. If yes, a life review. Life review is not being judge by an external being, it is just a review. What you intended for your life is compared with what you actually accomplished.
This base process was reported by all of the spirit people who came forward. After this process is complete the individual person seems to meld into their "higher self". This higher self seems to be the control center for all the lives this spirit has led.
The spirit people with unfinished business seem very emotional about their issues and also seem to be aware of their environment. These people have chosen not to transition and are trying to complete tasks from their lives. The Connection refers to this and says this is a viable option. There is nothing wrong with this choice. It is all about experience and if they choose to experience this state it is their right of free will.

I am having a troubling experience understanding a soul’s life path/incarnation, based on some information I received from someone who experienced an NDE.
This person who had an NDE came back with the knowledge that all souls come here to experience. That’s it. Not to learn, just experience. She went on to say that every soul incarnates with a set life path, meaning that, for example, if a soul incarnates with a life path to experience being a murderer, that is what they will experience, one they incarnate, their life path is set; they cannot change it. I have major problems with this! It doesn’t make sense to me. I understand that we are here to experience, but it seems to me that if we incarnate with “free will” we can chose to design the life we desire, in essence, to become our fullest potential selves. If someone incarnates to be a murderer, it seems that that would be regressing, rather than moving forward on the soul’s journey, but that would be the souls’ choice…But they really wouldn’t have a choice. She also says that there is no Karma, so if a soul comes in to experience murdering people, they will not have karma, they will just go back to source, and the lifetime would just be a culmination of their experiences.
I read another NDE where a person came back with knowledge that there is karma, and if people murder, they will get caught up in the wheel of karma, so to speak. For example, they said that someone like Hitler will just cease to exist as a soul because he created so much karma that it would take eons of time to resolve that karma (it would be impossible), so the soul would just cease to exist.
It just seems contradictory to me that 1) we incarnate with a set life path that cannot be changed, and 2) we have free will? Something just seems amiss here. I’m confused. Do you have insight to this?

Actually what I think the case is what they mean is learn/experience is all one meaning like say for instance one was to develop a relationship or meet or make a new friend that is a life experience and a learning process one has learned that they would be able and know that they can attract a certain crowd that are alike and others that have learned the same.Also to answer the question where you mentioned about a soul reincarnating as a murder for instance really it depends on the circumstances and the transition process and entry or incarnation of the spirit and also yes we do come here to experience and learn new things like if one had a past life as a murder the soul may come back and try to have a new experience and make it a positive one once that life lesson was learned.Also if say someone committed suicide and transition they may have to come back at a later time and live another life again and go through being a baby again and all to have an experience that is more positive and different and Bonnie can tell you more on that as she had a girl by the name of Jennifer I believe her name was come through and mention that subject.
Hope this helps some it was somewhat confusing for me but I hope I gave some information.

From what I have gathered up until now, I do agree with how Mike put it in that experience and learn in terms of entities incarnating on Earth is meant to be one and the same. Experience is essential to learning.
There are definitely laws of attraction and polarization at play. Certainly this is why we observe paranormal phenomena on Earth. We are surrounded by energy fields of frequencies, light and dark, and elctromagnetics. And so many spiritual sources tell us that we are part of this energy, and certailny in a direct way when we are out of our physical shells.
There are definitely entities who come in to experience various states of being in this reality. Some negative and others positive. What is often spoken of as service to self and servive to others. An entity such as Hitler or a Genghis Khan would be deemed a service to self entity.
The majority of entities are polarized toward service to others. Someone like Michael Jackson would be called a service to others oriented entity. The majority of human beings on Earth are service to others entities of various degrees. You may listen to Bonnie's channeled message with Marilyn, as she does refer to this as well by stating that her message to us via Bonnie is part of her contribution as service to others entity.
You may want to read up the Law of One/Ra Material. At least the first book. I still have not gone through all of the second book (there are four) but I was able to extract a lot from what I read so far. cause and effect Some may refer to this as Karma, but this word has been overused. Please be very careful with your intentions. They will take effect more quickly than they did in the old energy. Doubts will very quickly sabotage the results you may desire. It is rather like the Genie that provides 3 wishes. Be careful what you wish for, you may not get what you expect but you will get what you intended. There are no judgments here. Whatever you focus on is what you will receive. If you expect your mate to be a problem they will be. Expectations need to be adjusted. Put more energy on what you truly want. We realize some are living life by avoidance. They know what they have experienced in the past and they do not want to experience it again. Wounds are carried forward from one situation to the next. This does not allow for the full experience of the next lesson. It is being filtered down. Fear can make a great experience terrifying. It is time to push past the fear of the past. Please realize that you cannot fail. There is no such thing as failure. It is all an adventure. If you learned something from the experience you are a success. When you leave you will realize just how short the time spent really was. It is time to take the car out of neutral and drive. Be proactive instead of reactive. Do you have a life purpose going unfulfilled? Focus your thoughts there and the doors of opportunity will open.Please keep away from limiting beliefs. This is a very complex topic. We have so much more to learn and explore in this area.
NDA's seem to have some similarities to after death communications.
In the trance channeled sessions with "The Connection" they do explain that we have some set things to accomplish. This would perhaps explain that most people feel they are here for a reason or purpose.
It does seem to be about experience and learning and there does not seem to be any judgement on whether these experiences are positive or negative. The Connection just considers it all as experience. This is a high level point of view. To give an example: If you have ever been to the Empire State Building and looked at the people on the street, they appear as small as ants. From that perspective you have no idea of the drama playing out on the street below. Everything seems to be in perfect order and perhaps it is.
I have noticed in my own life that we seem to have more free will than prior to the end of 1999. To provide a real world example: If the goal is to drive from San Diego to Los Angeles, the free will would be the route you choose to get there. With the shift in energy we can use our power of intent to change the plan. Maybe we no longer want to go to Los Angeles, then we can intend to go to Las Vegas instead. Our power of intention will drive "our personal body car" in that new direction.
You do need to be careful what you intend as it can manifest more easily now. You will receive back energy in kind with what you are putting out. I tread very lightly and try my best to never have regrets. Playing with this energy is a great on going learning experience. You can rise above the drama and find a peaceful place. From this space you can set the intention for the things you would like to experience. Other people are doing this too, so there will be conflicts. We seem to learn a lot from conflicting energies. I always get the visual of a football game. You can see the goal posts, but how you get there is never in a straight line and there are always obstacles in your direct path. The learning is in being nimble and looking for every opportunity to gain ground to your goal.

I have a suggestion, Suzanna. Watch the movie "The Adjustment Bureau".
It will give you a very good sense of how a person's Free Will and Life Plan/ Purpose interact from a Higher Self/ Spiritual Guidance point of view.

Has anyone read "Letters from Julia", by W.T. Stead, or "The Afterlife Unveiled", by Stafford Betty? Julia's letters were the result of automatic writing in the late 1800's. She wanted what she termed a "bureau" set up so that those on the other side could communicate directly with those they left behind. I think this is what Bonnie has been doing all along. Giving those on the other side a voice.

I agree, Bonnie, so very complex! I have heard that because the energies are changing we can manifest faster than before.
It would make more sense to me that we could at least have some wiggle room as we incarnate, that the set path would not be set in stone, so-to-speak.
I have been studying a lot the past couple years on NDE's, and there are three people I have come across where their experiences are more different than the majority of NDE's, where they say there is no such thing as karma, free will or that earth is not a school for souls, no hell, no heaven no beautiful celestial cities or countrysides...Just nothingness...Just BEing. I am starting to think that maybe these people/souls are going to a higher plain than the astral (perhaps where souls merge back with source) and that is why they have those experiences. So maybe people who still have karma to resolve would go to the astral or the place where they reside in-between incarnations.

Susanna it is my knowledge that you go to the ''astral plane'' 4th dimension right after you leave here and that is where you have life review and to my knowledge also that is where you will be greeted by a loved one who has crossed or it may not be a loved one it could be spirit guide also depending on the situation as some require a higher level of assistance over there one example someone takes their own life,exits from a bad accident etc may require more.

I have been doing quite a lot of studying and reading about NDEs and the Afterlife. I find it very comforting to know that we all have a destination and a place of belonging. It also brings me back to one of the first messages from Michael where he says that he has lots of work to do. I wonder what job he has over there? Is he helping to care for the children who have died too soon? I picture him as doing just that.
***So the phone just rang at my home..the call is from Gary, Indiana wanting us to get involved with trying to raise awareness for Autistic children. Now if that isn't Michael talking, I don't know who else it could be! Keeping in mind that I live in a teeny town in Massachusetts and I cannot for the life of me ever remember receiving a call, any call from Gary Indiana. Pretty cool.

Bonnie,
COnversations with the Dead said that not everyone is able to commmunicate with their loved ones when they cross over. Does that include dreams as well?
My Mom was concerned on how she would communicate with me and I still haven't heard from her. I talk to her and tell her to come to me when I dream but so far she hasn't made a visit.

Jane, it would seem that most people do not make contact after death. I can only speculate since no one knows for sure, that perhaps it is just like being here. Only a few people out the entire population have the ability to communicate between dimensions. It would make some sense that after shedding the constraints of the physical body that some would discover this ability and communicate back to loved ones.
More visits occur in dreams or right after a person has settled down for the night. I think we are much more open and easier to contact. The waking world is very noisy and we are focus on other things.

I read the book "Always Karen" by Jeanne Walker. You may recall an episode about Karen on Unsolved Mysteries. At one time this episode was posted here on Bonnie's board by Mike.
Karen is a yound woman who passed of cancer at an age when one is about to spread their wings and fly.
As it turned out she led her parents to a medium who was able to communicate Karen's wish to pass important messages and teach about the afterlife.
Karen communicates through her mother Jeanne and expands on the afterlife amazingly well and the potential and the mechanics of thought in a very detailed way.
On one occasion she let her parents know that she does visit them in dreams every night but that they often do not recall the visits when they awake.

Thank you for responding to my question. It does help Bonnie. Irina I did read Always Karen but had forgotten the detail that Karen told them that she visits at night in their dreams but they don't remember her visits.

In this episode of History Channel's "Ancient Aliens" series there are beginnings of validation of the existence of inter-dimensional portals. One of the better known ones being the Bermuda Triangle, as mentioned by The Connection. The Connection shared with us that there are additional portals as well. Interesting to hear the possible existence of portals and star gates being rather matter-of-factly discussed here:
