Paramount Home Entertainment will be scaring tens of thousands Dec. 29 when it releases Paranormal Activity on DVD and Blu-ray Disc, but one of those fans will be scared in style.
The studio has announced a contest in which one winner will receive a red carpet private screening and a $4,000 home theater system giveaway. Visitors to www.paranormalmovie.com/amazon can enter for a chance to host 20 friends for a private screening of the film, complete with media and, depending on their availability, talent from the $107 million blockbuster.
The winner will be announced Dec. 18, and the studio aims to hold the screening Dec. 28, the day before the DVD and Blu-ray releases.
