SOUTHERN POLAND INVADED BY CROP CIRCLE ENTHUSIASTS

Hundreds of tourists and UFO enthusiasts are coming to Southern Poland
to see new crop circles which were discovered in a field near Piekary
Slaskie – a city in Silesia. Is it an alien visit and a chance to
estabilish contact with an extraterrestial civilization, or a joke?

Three perfectly round circles were discovered by the local people a few
days ago. And this is not the first time.
Last year similar signs could have been seen in the same area. And the
villagers do not remember it as a friendly visit.

First a combine harvester which approached the circles suddenly broke
up. A few hours later an old Volkswagen Golf burst into flames at the
same field when it's owner come closer to the signs to examine them. So
when the similar circles appeared a few days ago the local community
wasn't very happy.
The owner of the field doesn't believe in UFO visits and presence of
extraterrestrial intelligence near Piekary Slaskie but he admits that
the circles are very precisely made and there are no traces like
footprints around them.
The circles are connected with very narrow corridors. All wheat ears are
facing the same direction. And to be honest the local people are afraid
of invasion. Not from outer space, but from other parts of our planet.

Polish UFO investigators are coming to Piekary to examine the circles
with specialized equipment to check for presence of cosmic radiation
with Geiger counters and photograph the whole area. Many tourists are
also planning to visit the spot, because it's simply interesting.
The owner of the field says that last year cars and hundreds of people
ruined his field. But on the other hand he considers opening a parking
lot. If you'd like to see the circles you would have to pay. And he's
not afraid that in the middle of the night he would hear knocking at his
window and see a greenish alien faces staring at him with curiosity in
big black eyes…
He simply does not believe in aliens. But if the circles were made not
by the extraterrestrials then… who made them ?

A few years ago two British jokers explained how they had managed to
make quite complicated crop shapes using a piece of rope, a piece of
wood and a GPS receiver. So, maybe the circles in Piekary are just a
prank ?

But if they are 37 years after the first man's steps on the Moon some
terrestrials are raising their heads to stars asking "Is there anybody
out there?"
