Please explain your experience: I and two other girl friends were upstairs looking into the bedroom on the right when I flung my right hand up in panic.  I felt a finger rub the top of my hand. I would say a child’s finger because it seemed small and light. It was enough to make me jump. 

In the downstairs bedroom to the right on the end we smelled cigar smoke.  It was there quick enough for us to discuss it and then it was gone. 

We were in the store part facing the clock on the wall all alone looking at the history book.  All at the same time we looked up at the clock as though the clock had stopped clicking and then started again faster and harder AS though it was angry, then we were outta there!!!

These are widely reported experiences.  There is a little girl spirit in the house.  She is known for trying to hold hands with people.  She has not identified herself to me, but she has held my hand on 2 different occasions.  When I asked her name she remarked “I am not allowed to talk to strangers”.  She is the one that they attributed the moving meat cleavers to in the past.  The kitchen has been gone since 2000 it is now a dining room.  She is also the spirit associated with the Urban Legend of the hanging by clothes line story.  The girl spirit exists but the clothes line story is completely false as is the name Annabelle Washburn. 

Thomas Whaley is widely known to go with the smell of cigar smoke.  It is a pungent and unmistakable smell of a fine Cuban cigar.  Several people have reported a sense of anger in the house.
