I have also heard about a ghost cat. I do not have a description. I have seen Dolly the dog at the house. They run by so quickly it would be hard to describe.

There was a cat that was seen in the early days of our investigations. We thought it might be Dolly misinterpreted for some time until one experient had a good long look at it. It was in fact a calico short hair, and is one of the least-reported apparitions of the Whaley House. In fact, it was used for some time as a 'control' apparition, one that we waited to see if anyone reported, and were careful not to reveal to the public. Our control may have been too good, in that only a couple of sightings were ever reported.
