Hello to my fellow board members and lurkers! Here is my camcorder coverage of what I saw late in the afternoon at Forest Lawn in Glendale yesterday, and at the Jackson family Encino home. I am including my YouTube summaries with the videos.

Ute, if any of these are not visible to you in Germany, please let me know. I'll put them on DVD for you. :)

************************************************
A video montage of Michael Jackson fans and supporters from around the world paying tribute to him and paying their respects. Forest Lawn Glendale photographs were taken on May 1, 2011 and were not part of the June 25th events.

Music is by Lesiem: Caritas (Charity) and is copyright 2008 by Intentcity Records. No copyright infringement intended.

Many thanks again to Michael Jackson's fans and supporters from around the world. Regardless as to whether or not you were physically with us on June 25, 2011, I know all of you were with Michael and fellow fans and supporters in spirit.

Special thanks to William Wagener and Sonia for granting me an interview and for paying their respects to Michael Jackson and his lasting legacy of music, dance, humanitarian efforts and the unbreakable bond he will share eternally with his fans around the world.

I left William Wagener's interview intact and chose not to edit the segment where a Michael Jackson hater shouts out an obscenity while driving past in a car. This is the result of many people not understanding Michael Jackson, and the media tarnishing his name, his image and his reputation. It is for this reason, so well illustrated by the unfortunate event that we see and hear in the beginning of the video, that I feel and believe we need to support Mr. Wagener as best we can to make this documentary. If Michael Jackson's fans around the world refuse to unite in this cause, we will NEVER have a documentary made. The media is not going to help spread or speak the truth.

As Michael said in "This Is It," "It's up to us."

Copy and paste this link on Tweeter, Facebook, etc. We need to get the word out. Each person makes a difference.

Coverage of Michael Jackson fans and supporters visiting Forest Lawn in Glendale and the Jackson family home in Encino on the second anniversary of Michael Jackson's death, on June 25, 2011. The video is presented in the order it was shot, from late afternoon at around 5:25 PM to 8:30 PM. Minimal editing has been done.

This video is not mine, but it was posted on the Sony board by a fan from Australia who could not be there. I missed this part of the day's events. It's really very nice to see so many of Michael's fans united and paying their respects to him.

Hi Roxy. *waves "Hello"*

I wasn't there for Michael in life. I'm trying to be there for him, and his fans, now that he is not here anymore. Thank you for your kind words and support.

I'm going to help William out as soon as I know exactly how much money I have in my checking account and have paid my upcoming bills. The rent and the car payment are practically back-to-back. :(

I think if Tom Messereau can openly support Mr. Wagener and give his time for interviews with him, and is willing to sign items to help raise money for this project, it's safe to say that Mr. Wagener is sincere.

I felt bad about the obscenity being shouted out by someone who drove by while I was interviewing William, and I thought about how I might edit the interview to remove that comment, but then I realized I'd have to edit the other segments in which fellow MJ fans and supporters shouted something right back, and I also realized that what I shot and captured was REAL. This is reality, and this is what we deal with and are up against. Shutting out reality or what actually took place is not the way to face it or deal with it.

Maybe some of Michael's fans and supporters will get angry enough to join forces and make a difference. We definitely cannot rely on the MSM to speak or present the truth. During my interview with William, I asked specific questions that I knew skeptics, critics and fans in general would want to ask. This gave him the opportunity to respond to the critics and those fans who are unsure of his intentions or how this documentary would be done. The fact that Tom Messereau is supporting him is a BIG PlUS in my book.

Warmly,
Carmen

Edited to add: The song track chosen for the first video was one I had in mind for a long time. I wanted to use that song in a video that symbolizes Michael's connection to his fans, and their connection to him. As I watched the video footage prior to and during editing, I realized that this incredible bond is, I think, unbreakable and eternal. Michael's fans are each connected to him in their own way, and they are connected to him as a group, as well. I can only stand back and watch this with awe and amazement. What he shares with them, and vice versa, is sacred. The song references a soul mate theme and connection, and while I normally do not go there when it comes to Michael and his privacy, the song is appropriate when it comes to Micheal and his love for his fans, and their love for him.

What Michael and his fans share is 'unbreakable' and 'invincible.' It really is very powerful.

Good call on keeping it real and not editing out the obscenity. Agreed, I was more than happy to lend my support to William Wagener with Tom Messereau on board.

I am praying for Mr Wagener and sending positive vibes out to the Universe for the project to succeed!!

Thanks again Carmen,

THANK YOU SOOO MUCH CARMEN! YOUR VIDEOS ARE AMAZING! THEY ARE SO IMPORTANT!

This article is about Michael and the relationship with his fans...maybe not really on topic but hopefully interesting to read for you:

Those “Crazy Michael Jackson Fans:” Maybe we should listen?

The letters come from all over the world—Canada, Indonesia, Greece, Italy, France, Belgium, Japan, Germany, Africa, Romania, Viet Nam… people everywhere are grieving Michael. Many have had visions, visitations and messages from him after his death. Some are doing work on his behalf and some are reclaiming his legacy. All of them understand on a very deep level that this man was special.

Michael’s death had an impact on fans, admirers and even people on the outer orbits of anything Michael. Many have asked why they have been so impacted by this singular event and this singular individual. The short answer is that Michael awakened many on the planet before his death and his death itself awakened many more. People who have never before been interested are researching him. Many who have not considered themselves talented are now finding their inner artist. And many thousands more are doing humanitarian work around this globe in Michael’s name—“Michaeling” by donating to charities, organizing fund raisers, holding conferences and gifting needy children and vulnerable others. They are taking Michael’s “you can change the world” literally and applying it to their lives and work. They are making Michael proud. While they feel a little better, the personal grief remains intense.

What they often don’t understand is how and why their grief is so gritty and so deep. Some of these Michael people are new advocates never having been fans or listened to his music. Some are long time fans who have followed Michael’s career since the days of the Jackson Five. But all have in common their admiration and affection for Michael Jackson.

Many of them have told me they are surprised by the impact Michael’s passing had on them—equivalent to a magnitude 7 or 8 earthquake on the Richter Scale. The ones who didn’t know Michael, didn’t listen to his music are really puzzled how affected they are by his loss. Some of them have experienced this grief as they would have a close loved one yet they never knew him before. Some didn’t know how deeply they could hurt. Some feel as if his leaving awakened something in them. It did. Many embarked on a personal spiritual journey begun by an emergency that his death triggered. Janet Jackson said “To you Michael was an Icon; to us Michael was family.” While that is technically true if measured by flesh and blood, Michael was the lifeline of many. He was the one voice of sanity in a world gripped by so much insanity. For many, he was their hope, their confidante, their role model, their leader or guru. He represented the way out or the way forward. He was someone who came from nothing and became something larger than life. Michael’s voice soothed. His lyrics put many of their hopes, thoughts and prayers into words. For some, he represented their light in a world that was otherwise hopelessly dark.

When Michael Jackson left this planet he took his immediate light with him. That light was anchored here for 50 years and its sudden withdrawal left people reeling and feeling empty. Their tears were and are spontaneous, their sorrow is suffocating. Many not only did not know him before, but they did not know their own spectrum of feelings before.

The seminal work by Elizabeth Kubler-Ross on Death and Dying identified a roadmap of what the normal grieving process looks like. That first work has been expanded upon since it was first introduced and there are many models. Nobody follows the predicted path exactly, and the layers of grieving can mingle and be revisited at any stage. The progression of grief usually follows the path of: Initial shock, denial, pain, guilt, anger, bargaining, depression, reflection, loneliness, working through, reconstruction, acceptance, and hope. When an individual works through sufficient grief, there may be a reprieve period where feelings are muted and the process is not linear but cyclic.

In the case of Michael Jackson the normal process of grieving is complicated by many factors that do not accompany most losses and the grieving of the lost object of affection. Those who knew Michael personally have had a difficult time but the fans have had the most difficult.

The fans, while they knew Michael intimately, did not actually meet him and weren’t a part of his inner circle. Instead of being involved and included in the provisions of dealing with his preparation, funeral, interment, visitations and so on, they are forced to be mere observers and “outsiders.”They have had no say in how Michael’s passing was handled. For most, Michael was an intimate part of their lives and being an outsider leaves them with a feeling of helplessness.

Add to that the impossibility of the media and the press coverage of Michael and how he has been, and is now—portrayed so visibly in the world. They know the man’s heart and they have researched the facts and know him to be an innocent. They also know what a consummate humanitarian Michael was and how that part of his life has been overlooked.

The media managed to hypnotize a public into believing a caricature of this man and just continues to spew the party line and each time that happens, the fans who know better wince. Not only do they wince, but they feel that knife go into his back and empathically, theirs each time the lies are repeated. Once again, they feel helpless. There is also the issue of those “unauthorized biographers” whose careers were, and wealth was, built upon the dismemberment of a man who truly was a light unto the world. The man who was the world’s greatest cheerleader, humanitarian and philanthropist was turned into a dark figure in the collective memory of the twentieth century and that hurts. It is especially vile when the realization hits that the dismembering of this gentle man was perpetrated only for profit. The manufactured books and stories about Michael Jackson sold and billions of dollars were made from siphoning the life from the man.

Fans are angry not just because that is a phase of the journey of grief; they are a disenfranchised voice of reason. They are the whistleblowers who are trying to tell the hypnotized public that they are under the influence of an illusion and that this practice is not only dangerous but inhumane. They also have to deal with the disdain that has developed about “those crazy Michael Jackson fans.” The frenzy among the fans is somewhat an acting out of their anger, grief and helplessness. It’s true that some of it appears crazy and doesn’t help Michael’s legacy and is a lashing out from frustration. They don’t know how else to do it. They are flailing in grief and aiming at anything that moves. They are in the throes of it, their backs to the wall in order to hold themselves up. It’s not pretty sometimes but grief is not lovely. And senseless loss is the worst kind. They know Michael did not have to die.

Michael Jackson fans are grieving in a way that is not normal in an atmosphere that is not normal. Normally the deceased is eulogized in a reverent way, their contributions to others and the world highlighted. Their lives are celebrated and revered. Normally, they have some closure. There is no closure with the death of Michael Jackson. It is not a normal grieving process because the hype, reaction, media slant and opinions of those who didn’t know Michael taint the process. If the real Michael Jackson were globally exposed tomorrow and people would actually see how they have been duped and led by the nose into believing the tabloid version of the man, the fans could take a deep breath. If the real story were actually released into the culture and people started to understand this one they have believed an enigma, the fans would have some hope. If the whole sorry mess were exposed for what it was and the world was truly informed about the truth of this story, and an acknowledgement was made of the damage, the fans could begin normal grieving. And eventually they would heal.

So it is important to understand that those “crazy Michael Jackson fans” may be up to something important. While some are hostile and misguided and they act out their anguish in ways that are sometimes destructive and not always helpful or pretty, they really are trying… They are trying to save Michael and save themselves from a cruel world that mistreats really, really badly—its greatest treasures. They are trying to save the world from its delusions. They are trying to resurrect the truth. They are trying to construct an honest humanity because they are deconstructing tolerance for untruths and reconstructing humanity’s compassion. They are trying to prevent another human being from dismemberment for sport and for profit. They are trying to live Michael’s legacy—to heal the world and make it a better place. They are holding up a mirror to the world and saying: “look here: look what happened, look what was done to this human being; do you like what you see?” They do that for Michael because that is what Michael did. And he was crucified for it. They are trying to bring back humanity and are bringing salvation back. Maybe we should take into consideration what it is that they are actually grieving and maybe, if we can get past our judgment, we should listen

Hi Carmen,

Thank you so much for including us in the celebration of Michael's life that you have so beautifully captured on video in these moments in time.

I cannot believe it has been two years. Your videos, as well as some of the videos on you tube still show an open wound on some of the faces of the fans. Also some people seem to be wandering around aimlessly. I can see the sharp pierce of loneliness, of the loss of a world love, and piece of living hope and kindness that we all found in Michael. I miss him, my soul misses him.

I thought I would add the website that William Wagener mentioned in your video. I will donate, as I feel it is important for the truth to get past the media’s propaganda. Sometimes I feel as though we are back in Nazi Germany when I see the media’s manipulation of the facts.

Thank you again Carmen.

Hi Carmen,

Wonderful job as always. :)
Thank you so very, very much for lending your wonderfully observant eyes and ears to those of us who are too far away to have been able to be there physically. It is deeply appreciated. XXOO

I wanted to add that it is quite amazing how Michael is never not thought about or forgotten by his fans and supporters. I think perhaps that I speak for many when I say that we truly do think about him every day.

The interview with William Wagener makes it all too clear about the sort of forces Michael was up against during the trial; and which continue to do business as usual and need to be stopped in their tracks.

And yes, Carmen, you did great with the choice of questions you posed to Mr. Wagener, as they covered really well the angles many people are still in the dark about. This is truly all about shining the light onto the "dark matter" that seems to be eating away at all of the "good" in the world.

It is quite clear that the events which affected Michael's life were a result of the risks he took in publicly standing up to EVIL.

I have donated to the documentary at the beginning of the process. Truly hope people band together with a focus on bringing to the forefront and dealing with the BIGGER issue behind what happened to Michael.

With Love,
Irina

Thank you, MlovesYou, for that WONDERFUL article. I recall seeing and skimming Barbara Kaufman's articles in support of Michael before, as early as the fall of '09, but so much was happening and I was trying to absorb so much information that I didn't have the time or the patience to read all of her essays. I'm very glad you brought this one back to the forefront.

Thank you, Bonnie, for your support, and yes, William Wagener's interview was very timely and much needed right now. I'm so glad I was able to talk to him and ask the questions that needed to be asked. This is an interview I can post on the IMDb in response to some of the critics who have said certain things about Michael and who merely parrot the media. Mr. Wagener wasn't paid by the defense, and I think it's safe to say he's not on the Jackson family payroll or Tom Messereau's payroll. He's just being honest, and some people can't handle that.

Thank you marleneho, for your words and for posting William Wagener's website link. Michael's life, his music, his work as a performer and as a humanitarian touched the lives of so many. When you said, "my soul misses him," I thought to myself, "How appropriate. Her words ring true for millions of people around the globe."

Thank you, Irina, for your words of support and all your comments. I agree completely and can't think of anything more to add - except to say that I am starting to think that some of the evil forces and people behind Michael's death and at work in the world are downright jealous of Michael Jackson.

The themes of jealousy and trying to destroy someone are within "Unbreakable" and "Ghost." Those two songs come to mind for me right now.

Much love to my fellow board members. Together, and with others around the world, we celebrate and unwrap the GIFT that is, was and always will be: The MICHAEL JACKSON.

Hi MlovesYou,

thank you so much for bringing this article to our attention. Rev. B. Kaufman found the right words here and I wish that all those who are still slandering Michael will come across her articles and also across all those who vindicate Michael and shed the light on him that he deserves.

I watched the June 1st, 2011 Piers Morgan interview on CNN...he is with Kathy and Paris Hilton. They spoke about Michael. Kathy said whoever had a child first would name her Paris. I guess they both named there first girls Paris.

Also, I did not know he lived at the hotel right before he died.

Hello Chaturi and Ute! Thank you for your support. As always, the board members here, active and inactive, as well as our lurkers are more than welcome when it comes to these video projects in support and defense of our dearest Michael.

I do want to mention that I have been promoting the William Wagener interview video posted here, as well as another Michael Jackson video I made, and the video featuring Mr. Wagener was denied promotion. That means that despite my willingness to PAY to have that video promoted and featured a bit more prominently on YouTube, YouTube (and possibly its partner or parent, Google) refused to allow it. As of this time, it is still viewable on my channel, and I have not been forced to take it down. The video counter has been moving very, very slowly on that video, and I suspect that YouTube is doing what it has done with Alex Jones's video, "The Obama Deception" - namely, stopping the counters so that the true number of views is not revealed. As of this morning, the counter is at 677 views for the William Wagener interview.

For anyone interested in conducting a little experiment with me, here's what you can do: After watching the video, please comment on it, even if all you say is "Hey, I watched it!" or "Thanks!" or "Great interview!". By each viewer leaving comments, I'll know that the counter is either being allowed to accurately and truthfully move forward, or YouTube is stopping it so as to conceal its true impact.

This is the other video that I am promoting, which YouTube IS allowing me to promote. This video is meant to be watched before or after the William Wagener interview. Its theme ties in to Williams comments about the MSM not wanting the truth to come out. If the main stream media DID want the truth about Michael Jackson to come out, they would have revealed it a long time age.

Thank you, Bonnie, for letting me post this notice. My Wagener interview may be allowed to remain on YouTube because it does defend Michael against the allegations and accusations made against him. However, Mr. Wagener does specifically mention a certain D.A. and reveals what he did in an attempt to thwart justice and/or conceal the truth. I'm sure that if I ever had a chance to interview Tom Mesereau, he would acknowledge this as being true. That 2005 trial was a set up and a sham. Period. Without having been there, I find myself none-the-less reaching this conclusion after all the information I've learned since then.

Love,
Carmen

Hi Karin. I just logged into my YouTube account and checked to see if your comment even registered for approval. It is now 5:46PM Los Angeles time. So, for the last half hour, your comment has not even been sent through to my YouTube channel for me to review and approve or reject. And yes, the counter remains stuck at 677. It has not budged since BEFORE Irina's comment.

It would seem that YouTube is not even allowing comments to be made now, as I don't even see your comment coming through. I'll check again when I get home later tonight. If it doesn't show up at all by tomorrow, then I know that anyone and everyone who views this video and/or attempts to comment on it is being suppressed or silenced.

What will that tell us, if this turns out to be the case?

Thank you, Karin. And thank you, Bonnie!

Hi Karin and Irina. I saw both your comments on my YouTube channel and in my e-mail, and I was able to approve them. However, THE COUNTER REMAINS AT 677.

I have asked a coworker and friend of mine to watch the video and try to leave a comment, when he has a moment. He said he would. I told him why I want him to do this and that I'm conducting an experiment. He seemed okay with the idea. I'll let you all know what happens. I'm going to get this information out on IMDb and the Sony site as well, and I'm going to ask some of my friends via e-mail to work with me on this.

It's unbelievable. It's almost as though forces are at work to make some things as difficult, trying, challenging and time consuming as possible.

Love,
Carmen

Just wanted to let everyone know that more people have left comments on the William Wagener interview video, so I KNOW that it's being watched. However, the counter remains the same as it was late Monday night: 677 and not budging.

My channel views have shot up enormously, however, so I know that MJ fans and supporters ARE watching my MJ related videos.

The counters on those videos are just veeeerrrry sloooooow to move.

Hmmm. . .

Carmen,

Have you considered putting the message about the censorship of the video below it. Also perhaps putting out a video saying that a video of yours is being censored, mentioning its content and possible reasons why, and directing the viewer to watch this particular one.

Hi Irina.

Yes, I've been thinking about making another video about the censorship of videos and/or the video counters being stopped. I have to think about that because once I cross that threshold, there is no turning back. I am going to stop promoting the other video I'm currently promoting as well, as I find I can longer trust YouTube as a business partner. Business is business, and YouTube is taking my money without necessarily giving me what I have paid for. I now have to wonder what the TRUE view count is on ALL my videos, whether they are Michael Jackson related or not, and I strongly believe that the numbers I see are not true and correct.

The holding back of the number counter occurred in the fall of 2009 when I started to promote one of my manicure videos. I noticed that the view count on that video was at about 14 or so, and as soon as I sent through my Master Card payment to YouTube to promote that particular video - AND I MEAN WITHIN TWO OR THREE MINUTES OF THE PAYMENT BEING PROCESSED OR THE CARD GOING THROUGH - the number of views for that video shot up to about 67. I remember thinking, "That's strange. How could this video have that many views within two or three minutes, when the video counter held at about 14 for a few days. . ."

Now I know what one of their tricks is: Withhold the true number of videos, and when the person pays for that video to be promoted, gradually 'release' the views that have been withheld so the YouTube person/ patron/ customer thinks they're getting their money's worth and that YouTube is really promoting the video. I don't doubt that promoted videos on YouTube are being promoted, but I strongly doubt that the numbers are true and correct.

The money I don't spend on promoting my videos is money I CAN spend on William Wagener's documentary.

~Carmen~

P.S. Sorry for typos. I'm at work, and my break is up.

Edited to add: My coworker and friend DID watch the video and tried to leave a comment. YouTube gave him a message that denied him the ability to leave a comment and told him to check his e-mail. He told me he has yet to receive that e-mail from YouTube.

Hmmm. . .

Hi Irina and Carmen,

I am seeing all kinds of "tricks" being played and not just MJ related. The common thread seems to be people trying to get out what they honestly believe to be the truth.

1. View count not displayed correctly

2. Not sending email to subscribers when a new video is uploaded to their channel.

3. Refusing to allow the content to be viewed once uploaded.

4. Allowing people to attack you with counter videos that would be considered as defamation.

5. Allowing people to give out the map coordinates of your home, as well as contact information including family.

Privacy violations and defamation claims get a response from YouTube to contact the person who is attacking you and asking them to take down their video. If they refuse, YouTube tells you their hands are tied unless they receive a cease and desist order from your attorney.

Hmmmm is right!

Hello Bonnie.

My video counter went up on the William Wagener interview just as I left for lunch at around 12:04PM. After having been 'stuck' since Monday evening at 677, and STILL stuck at that number as of 10:15AM, it has gone up to 711. Quite a sudden 'jump' in the number of views for a 1 hour 40 minute span of time, I'd say. . .

Any comments that viewers might be trying to leave for that video are not coming through at this time.

Regarding the map coordinates of the location where the video was made, the YouTuber who made the video can actually change the location on the map, if he/she wishes to do so. YouTubers can also alter their profile information for privacy.

No one has any business giving out personal contact information or family information about YouTube users. That is STRICTLY the right of the individual himself/herself.

All of this is totally unacceptable and unbelievable.

Hi Carmen,
At least I`m glad the comments are comming through, but I get the feeling that they are checking every comment themselves first....
A lot of things are not right , but there`s no way we`ll ever be able to prove it

(off topic; do you all follow what is happening in the UK with Rupert Murdoch? News of the world closed and now he withdrew his bid on BSkyB...he had no choice!
Now he`s considering to sell all his other newspapers as well :O)

senator Rockefeller wants an investigation(so it seems)about Murdoch as well..this would involve Fox news and The Wall Street Journal)

Could this finally be the turning-point in the way journalism is practised?!

Hi Karin,

I am following the Murdoch scandal. I do not condone what News of the World is accused of, but unfortunately I see it as a way to close down any real investigative journalism not open it back up. Murdoch has not been following the "party line" so it is no surprise who is leading the charge to take him down.

IMHO,
Bonnie

Here is an interesting interview with Rupert Murdoch from a little over a year ago. I recommend listening carefully as it gives good insight about his philosophy, approach and views about the news business.

Hi all,

What I meant is that I`m glad that the way journalism is practised is beeing investigated.Good journalism doesn`t need illegal activities or plain lies.

Murdoch`s believe in independent journalism is right offcourse.
What puzzles me is why he suddenly wants to sell all of his UK newspapers ,I think that`s a bit overreacted :O)

I`m glad that the public is starting to wake up and are realising now how some journalists are working..

Yesterday I went to the tmz website and read the article about Paris being chased by paps ; (almost) all the reactions from readers are the same... disgust.
and the question why there isn`t a law in the US that forbids to take pictures of children .

So maybe the public will `make that change`.

Carmen, I didn`t mean to hijack your thread, sorry.
Bonnie, maybe these last posts can be placed in another thread...?

Hi everyone!

Hi Karin, I was wondering the same thing. Why Rupert Murdoch suddenly wants to sell all of his UK newspapers and started as soon as the story broke. I wonder if there is anything else going on that we don't know about?

Love,

Mar

Just wanted to thank you, Irina, for posting the interview with Mr. Murdoch. After watching the 10 minute segment, I chose to watch the entire 39 minute interview. It was very interesting. I don't have time tonight to comment further, but I do want to thank you for finding this.

Love,
Carmen

Hi All,

I found this article and video in the front page of MSN. Why did Rupert Murdoch suddenly want to sell all of his UK newspapers and now quite? He must be really involved and he must have prior knowledge of what was going on. Wow!

I find myself wondering if Murdoch was set up. I can't help thinking that many other newspaper scandals have occurred over the past 20 or so years, but that those have perhaps been either covered up or minimized by THEM. Since THEY control the MSM and media outlets, THEY have the power to oust a person like Murdoch, or influence, control and manipulate public opinion the way THEY have in other ways and at other times.

I think that for whatever reason, THEY want Rupert Murdoch out of the MSM and newspaper business.

It's going to be very interesting to see who buys - and ultimately controls - all of his previously owned newspapers.

Edited to add: It's going to be someone with a tremendous amount of money, power and therefore influence. That person or corporation will have Illuminati ties. I guarantee it.

I just sent two e-mails to YouTube's bug reporting page, and I wrote the following, since my counters are once again not moving:

**************************
The video counters for my "June 25, 2011 Michael Jackson Fans and Supporters" video remained stuck at 677 as of last Monday for over 2 days while people continued to watch and leave feedback. I know this for a FACT because they told me they watched it, and I could see feedback being left. The counter FINALLY JUMPED to about 714 two days later, on Wednesday. What is the normal time lag between videos being watched and the video counters moving up accordingly? The same thing applies to the "MJ Unanswered Questions Part 2" video. I cannot continue to spend my money promoting videos when I see the counters remain stagnant while my promotion costs continue to rise and the view count rises on the Promotions page but not on the video counters themselves. Please explain. I would like to continue to do business with Google and YouTube, but there must be honesty in business. Thank you for your time.
***************************

My previous e-mail note to them stated that I wanted to know the TRUE numbers on my video counters. I'll let you all know if and when I receive a response. YouTube doesn't seem to understand that the consumer and YouTuber can compare the video counter stats with the stats on their video Promotions page. When my Promotions balance is going up steadily to my daily maximum allowance for spending, while my video counter for my promoted video(s) remains stagnant, I know that there is something deceitful going on.

Translation: If my video counter stats don't keep pace with the stats on my Promotions page, and if I'm being charged for video views that are not registering on my video pages themselves, YouTube will be losing a promotions customer very soon. It will be at least 6 months before I promote any more videos, and those videos will not be controversial or Michael Jackson related since YouTube regards such videos as a threat, apparently.

I'll still make my MJ themed supportive videos, but I won't spend money promoting them when I'm paying for services that I'm obviously NOT receiving. That's just downright dishonest.

Hello Everyone.

As of yesterday, YouTube posted this notice. I may not have been the only person experiencing certain 'glitches.'
**********************

Why is my video counter frozen?

YouTube employs proprietary technology to prevent the artificial inflation of a video’s viewcount by spam bots, malware and other means. We validate views to ensure the accuracy of the viewcount of all videos beginning with the first view. This validation process becomes publicly visible when the viewcount reaches 300. At this point, the viewcount may slow or temporarily freeze until we have time to verify that all further views are legitimate. Rest assured that the views system is working as intended, and that the viewcount will update as soon as the system has verified the legitimacy of the views.
Known Issue: Viewcount outage from July 11th-July 18th

You may notice some inconsistencies between your Insight view count and public view count (e.g. watch page view count) for the week of July 11th. Please be assured that any views not currently updated are still being recorded. We hope to have any view count discrepancies resolved as soon as possible, but note that it may take a couple of days.

* Insight and YouTube Analytics are missing some viewcount data from late July 11th to July 18th.
* Public viewcounts are missing some viewcount data over the same range, though it may not correlate to the missing Insight info (ie: though both incorrect, public viewcount may be different than the Insight numbers).
* Daily Stats, Daily Reports, and Weekly Reports are also affected.
* All views from July 18th forward are being counted correctly in both Insight and public viewcounts.
* All views from the outage period (7/11-7/18) will slowly be added back, however this may take some time and we don't have an ETA for this at the time being.
* Lastly, there should be no impact to your revenues from this month - AdSense reporting and earnings were not effected by this issue.
