I found some very interesting videos on YouTube covering orbs and possible paranormal activity and thought this is the perfect place to share this video and to post this topic! This video seems genuine to me. I've had orbs captured on film before but have usually just thought of them as specks of dust. Personally, I tend to think that that's what they usually are, but I'm not a paranormal investigator or an expert on making the distinctions between dust specks and orbs. So, I'll just share interesting videos I find and let others judge for themselves. :)
The following four videos are from a YouTube user named mellowb1rd. I don't believe these videos are fake or that the events captured are staged, arranged, set up or manipulated. I also warn anyone who scares easily that this is not for you. This man has something in his home that is decidedly NOT friendly. I would have gotten the heck out of there after the first unpleasant experience. The fact that he remains astounds me.
I just found another one of mellowbr1d's videos. Here, he attempts to answer some of the many questions fellow YouTubers ask, and he provides a visual walking tour of his home. He shows the layout of his kitchen and living room, and naturally gets 'interrupted.' He attempts to communicate with the whatever-it-is and gets a few interesting knocks as responses. I believe I saw several orbs as the camera points towards his living room where a number of objects have been knocked about. Assuming he is legit and this documentation is real, if I were a paranormal investigator, I would pay this chap a visit. He gets the flying objects, the noises and bumps and thuds, and he gets the orbs! He even gets the flushing toilets! Eureeeka!!!!
Here it is! If this man's home isn't a paranormal investigator's jack pot, I don't know what is! LOL! You couldn't pay me enough money to stay one NIGHT in that house, let alone LIVE in it!
This comes from one of the oldest houses in America, supposedly, and the house has a violent history. Pay close attention to what happens around the 2:13 mark. At first I thought the sound track was perhaps fake or enhanced, but the footage captured is replayed and slowed down 25%, and the sound track is slowed down accordingly. I found this very interesting, personally.
I don’t know what an ‘ectoplasm’ is, but according to this person, known as Mikearam2 on YouTube, “Ok guys, Im the one that took this video on my BlackJack cell phone and my g/f was right next to me when we took this in a cabin in Tahoe and trust me this was no glare or sunbeam shooting in. We walked around this thing and when we got closer to it just after the video stopped recording it disappearred completely in a flash about? 10 seconds after I stopped recording!”
From BrooklynGeist on YouTube: “These photos were taken in Prospect Park in NYC. Each time we got a high EMF reading we took pictures and most of what you will see are what came up in those pictures. Also a couple were snap shots we took just to get pictures of our surroundings and we got what would appear to be ectoplasm. Enjoy!”
An awful lot of orbs in one home. I don’t know if these images are actually of orbs, but I found the video interesting. If orbs represent ghosts or spirits of some kind, this house would have to be haunted, wouldn’t it, Bonnie? How does one tell the difference between specks of dust on an image or camera lens and orbs?
This is a great topic. Awhile ago I took pictures of my daughter, over her head was an orb. Over anybody elses head there was no orb. When she stood with someone else the orb was over her head. While I know sometimes orb's are specks of dust caught on the lense. This particular speck was constant.
Considering less then 2 months later she had a mental break which I was able to prevent from being a tragedy,I find significant. Whether that orb was a spirit, my senses became hightened to the reality if a spirit was with her there was somethiing that could not be seen about her that needed to be watched. Dawn
Wow great post and not to sound offending its really hard to tell if they were rigged or not and its hard to convince me since I saw them pull a stunt on ghost adventures a while back with the fishing line to make the viewer think something actually moved and im really hard to convince since I know about that im not saying its fake because I do know stuff can move and its really hard to know though. ---------- Mike
In the 6th video down does anyone else see the orbs go past the camera at around 4:20 or was that dust, I think they were orbs they were moving so fast. I feel sorry for this guy, he's got to clean up after a ghost all the time, that would make me so mad, I can't stand cleaning up after my kids let alone a ghost. lol
Hi ChristinaM! Yes, I noticed a cluster of orbs in that video and commented on it. So you saw it, too! Glad I wasn't the only one! :)
Edited to Add: I love how you look at his unpleasant situation from such a practical too-much-housework standpoint! LOL! I hadn't even thought about that and completely agree. In my case, I would have moved out of that place after the second or third incident of such activities. I don't understand why he stays there. I may have to ask him that on his YouTube channel. Maybe he's curious and stubborn.

These are a couple of videos providing some background information on the house in Villisca, Iowa, which has been featured in another video I posted yesterday on EVP recordings. The second video provides more information about this house and the horrible murders that took place there.
Giving this thread a 'bump' for Mike and anyone else who missed it. Mellowbr1d has posted several videos which I personally find very interesting. He answers the questions of skeptics in one of the videos I posted here in this thread, and he gives you the layout of his home. It's too bad he doesn't have access to someone like Bonnie who could go through his place and check things out. People will have to decide for themselves what to make of these things.
here is another video if the activity is real I wonder why he is playing with a Ouija board and that can cause activity to occur I like to stay away from Ouija boards to me they can cause negative activity.
