Hi

Just found this. Another disgusting act on Oprah´s against Michael.
I am wondering how much pressure or more likely how many dollars those
people are offered to dissent Michael, someone who really tried to bring a change for his colleagues in the entertainment business too.
Claiming to have been his surrogate family is disgusting too.
$ony´s intention is clear here.
What is really fear and what is real greed for money here?
I am convinced it is the latter!
However - it is far beyond disgusting!

"BLOOD IS ON THE DANCEFLOOR, BLOOD IS ON THE KNIFE,..........AND SUSIE = $ONY SAYS IT´S RIGHT.
This dimeanor of his alleged friends is another knife into Michael´s back.

Please, see the link below - there you find the newspaper article.

Michael Jackson Breaking News: Oprah Interviews Singer’s Surrogate FamilyBy: Roger Friedman in Exclusives, Music // November 24th, 2010 at 5:47 PM UTC
What to do when so many people question the truth? Go on “Oprah.”

I am told that the whole Cascio family appears on “Oprah” on December 6th to showcase Eddie Cascio’s tracks from Michael Jackson‘s new album.

Eddie is joined by his parents, Dominic and Connie, as well as brother Frank and sister Nicole.

The family talks with Oprah about their long relationship as Michael’s surrogate family, and the evolution of the music Michael made at their house in New Jersey in 2007.

Originally, the family didn’t want to go to the show, but Sony Music thought it best just to put the whole story out in the open. “Michael” the album is released on December 14th. The single, “Hold My Hand,” is already on the radio and on ITunes, featuring Akon.

Eddie Cascio has three tracks on the new “Michael” album–”Breaking News,” “Monster,” and “Keep Your Head Up.” There are nine more in the vault.

Also on the show is Michael’s long time producer Teddy Riley, who worked on the tracks and vouches for their veracity.

I am disgusted. They sold their friendship with Michael for money...it's really sad and again, it makes me so angry!

Hello Ute and MlovesYou.

It really does pay for me to visit IMDb and the Sony site periodically, as I do get some interesting information to pass along. I found the following link on the IMDb Michael Jackson board today, and I find it truly fascinating in terms of timing - and highly suspicious from a PR and publicity standpoint. After all the comments made by so many of Michael's fans around the world against Tommy Mattola, and how so many of us have held our own grudge against him, look what we have here - Thalia Mattola's version of 'the truth.' Hmmmm. . .

I stand by my words as stated yesterday and today in the Cascio thread topic regarding the push for this album:

http://www.musicaloasis.net/2010/12/tommy-mattolas-wife-talks-about-michael.html

*************************************

Thalia, Mottola's wife, was on a Latin American show talking about Michael since the show was a tribute and many Latin artists were invited to talk about Michael's influence in the Latin community. She said that, way before she was Tommy's wife, she was a huge fan. She said that she went to his Dangerous Tour 92' when he went to Mexico and that he was the most amazing thing she had ever seen.

They started asking her simple questions like her favorite song, and favorite outfits and things like that. But then, the reporter couldn't hold it any longer and asked her about the Michael/Mottola Feud.

She was very classy about the entire situation, and she answered every single question asked.
They asked her if the Feud continued up until the day of his death?

... She replied... "First of all, the fued did not continue with Tommy till the day of his death. Tommy is no longer President of Sony and if Michael had any difference with Sony, it was the company itself. Because Tommy left 2 years after Invincible. Michael and Tommy were on better terms.

... She then added.... "The fued ended a few weeks before I married Tommy. Tommy knew I was such a big fan of Michael, and I told him it was dispicable of him to have this ongoing problem with Michael."

"And with that, Tommy inivited him to our home. At first, Michael declined the inivitation, but then he said yes because I asked him personally. Once he arrived to our home, he began to walk around the house and look at all the pictures. Tommy had gone out and I was the hostess for Michael until Tommy got home. I was so nervous, but I tried to keep it casual, I didn't want him to think I was a crazy fan. He looked at the pictures quietly and then saw one of myself with a white rose on my ear. He picked it up and smiled at it and told me that I looked beautiful. I started shaking."

... She continued... "After about an hour, Tommy and Michael began to talk to each other when Tommy got home. I told Tommy personally, a day before, for him to apologize and that's exactly what he did. Michael hesitated, but he accepted his apology like a true gentleman. Micheal has such a beautiful soul. And after this, I handed Michael an invitation to our wedding with Tommy. But, he looked at it and quickly said he wouldn't be able to make it and said thank you anyways."
At the end, she spoke about her wedding day and she said that that entire night was amazing. They had several parties, but the last reception was at Mottola's house.

Thalia was greeting her guests as she then noticed a bunch of "big black suits" coming through the door and in between them, was Michael. She said she was so happy, that she felt her stomach drop. Michael walked up to her, congrtulated her, and gave her a small yellow box with a white ribbon on it. She said her eyes were glowing. And when she opened the box, it was a white rose.

He said, "Like in the picture."

She said she would never forget that day and she feels blessed to have met him on a personal account.
*************************************

Regarding the Cascio's:

According to Tarryl Jackson’s twitter account, he has made the following statements:

On Tuesday 7th December 2010, @Taryll said:
Frank hurt and betrayed my Uncle years ago, so when I learned about Eddie I wasn't completely shocked. The names are different but the story's the same. People taking advantage of my Uncle and now his legacy. I wish Oprah would have asked about the ridiculous amount these FAKE songs were sold to the estate for.

On Tuesday 7th December 2010, @Taryll said:
I remember when Teddy and I were at Encore listening to KYHU. We both knew it wasn't my Uncle. He stopped working on it because (and I quote) "it didn't sound enough like Michael. Michael doesn't swing like that." He also said he was only working on the Cascio records in hopes that he would eventually be given a "real Michael Jackson song." As he knows, I never agreed with that logic. I'll never forget when Teddy called me telling me, "I'm so excited, I finally got a 'Michael record.' It's called Hollywood Tonight and it's him."

*****************************

I'm going to wrap up this post with the following personal comment: It doesn't matter whether or not horse dung has its usual odor. Manure is manure, and whether is STINKS or not, it's still s**t.

Sorry for the colorful metaphor.

~Carmen~

P.S. Nice try, Thalia, but it ain't gonna work. You can try to spin this tale any way you want, but I work in the industry, and I've seen far too many PR games and publicity maneuvers to fall for this.

But I'm glad you're happy with your marriage. May yours be far happier and less brutal than Mariah Carey's was.

I'm going to let Michael Jackson and William Wagener get the last word here, and as Mr. Wagener says, don't rely on the major networks or the MSM. "Search it yourself" :

Too bad "the Gatekeeper" to Michael's music wasn't able to save his life. You'd think Mattola could have done something FOR Michael, since he and Michael had made up and had made their peace with each other, according to Thalia.

Yes, Michael, you're a "free agent" now.

Hi Irina. :)

Frank Cascio was "rather quiet" eh?

I find myself thinking of a certain song lyric from the 1960s: "Silence is golden, but my eyes still see. . ."

Why do I keep seeing fans posting that they are torn and what would Michael want them to do? If you don't believe the channeled messages done shortly after his death, fine. How many signs does Michael have to hold up saying "Sony Sucks". Here is another message, please read it carefully. If you want to know how Michael feels; He is MORTIFIED.

Can Michael Jackson ever rest in peace? As album of 'new' songs he didn't want released hits the shelves... his family battle over his millions

By Nicole Lampert

An album of ‘new’ songs he didn’t want released. Claims his vocals are faked. And ANOTHER bitter family battle over his millions. Yes, Wacko’s back!

How ironic. In Breaking News, one of the songs included on Michael Jackson’s posthumous album, he sings about ‘Everybody wanting a piece of Michael Jackson’. Because 18 months after his death, the fight over Jackson and his legacy continues.

But the fights have already started, with his family and friends saying the perfectionist singer would never have wanted the songs to be released because they aren’t of a high enough standard.

‘As an unfinished product, Michael Jackson did not want them recorded,’ Brian Oxman, the Jackson family lawyer told me this week.

‘Sony were continually asking him to release these unfinished songs and he always said he did not want them put out. It was a huge bone of contention, but they hounded him.’

Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am, who worked with the singer a few years ago, adds: ‘Whoever put [this album] out and is profiting out of it, I want to see how cold they are. Michael Jackson songs are finished when Michael says they’re finished. He was very particular.’

The singer’s former producer Quincy Jones says of the album: ‘He wouldn’t have wanted it to come out this way.’

Even more controversially, the singer’s family have claimed that some of the songs on the album do not even have Michael’s voice on them.

They say that five tracks donated by producer Eddie Cascio — who spent four months in the studio with Michael in 2007 — do not even sound like the singer. Cascio has already admitted that some of the backing vocals were provided by session singer James Porte to beef up the tracks.

‘Some of the songs are him, and some aren’t,’ Michael’s brother Randy wrote on Twitter. ‘I would bet my life on that.

Sony insists that it has ‘complete confidence’ that the lead vocals are all Michael, but the fuss has already led to some fans threatening to boycott the album. However, it is expected to be a No 1 hit all over the world. Because while the singer may have ended his life several hundred million pounds in debt, in death he has become pop’s biggest earner.

His estate is believed to have raked in more than £500 million in the past 18 months alone, including the contract with Sony (the biggest music deal in pop history), a wave of Jackson nostalgia prompting about £150 million in record sales and the footage of Michael rehearsing for his ill-fated London concerts being turned into the movie This Is It, with sales of £150 million.

Meanwhile, there has also been a video game (Michael Jackson: The Experience), plus a deal with Cirque Du Soleil to turn his music into a Las Vegas show. But Michael’s family have barely seen a penny of that.

The Jacksons’ father Joseph, meanwhile — whom Michael detested for regularly beating his son — has attempted to get money out of the will but has been rebuffed several times by the judge. Joseph is now trying to sue his son’s doctor, Conrad Murray, for £250 million damages for his son’s ‘unlawful death’.

He was said to be at least £200 million in debt when he died, although his assets — his own back catalogue and a music publishing catalogue which features many of the Beatles hits — are worth more than that. However, there are hundreds of creditors demanding money.

The two Johns are said to be earning 10 per cent of the income of the estate for their hard work, so some have queried their motives for making deals in Michael’s name.

His mother, meanwhile, on behalf of Michael’s adored children, has had to resort to begging the estate for enough funds.

Initially awarded £30,000 a month (not that much when you consider the six bodyguards and two nannies), Katherine recently had to go before a judge to ask for more. ‘They have been rendered subservient to the estate,’ says a family friend.

‘Michael wanted his kids and his mother to have control of his money. The whole thing is a scandal.’

Despite not being named in Michael’s will, the rest of the family are already jostling for cash, says Diane Dimond, who wrote a biography of him.

‘The minute Michael Jackson died, the brothers were whispering in Katherine’s ear: “You’ve got to get in there for the estate,” ’ she says. ‘All the brothers show up at Mama’s house for cheques, and she gives them to them.’

Katherine is the linchpin holding the family together, and reminding them that the estate is making more money than any of them could ever have dreamed of for the children. But she is 80 and in ill-health.

‘When Katherine Jackson dies there is going to be a fight over those kids like you have never seen in your life,’ says Diane. ‘Where the kids go, the money goes. [Michael’s siblings] Jermaine, Marlon and Randy will be fighting hardest for custody.’

King of Pop: The opening line of the track is: 'This life don't last forever'

King of Pop: The opening line of the track is: 'This life don't last forever'

At the centre of all the acrimony is the three young heirs. Conscious that being a child star had led to his many problems, Michael was so desperate to keep them out of the limelight that they always had to wear masks in public.

With their new family, however, they took centre-stage at their father’s funeral and recently appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show where Paris talked about wanting to be an actress while Prince Michael I fancies directing. ‘It’s all about publicity with the Jacksons,’ says Diane. ‘I think they see it as whetting the public’s appetite for the children.’

Bringing out songs he consigned to the bin, showing intimate footage of his concert rehearsals, parading his children on television . . . you can’t help thinking that Michael won’t just be turning over in his grave at the way friends and family have acted since his death, he’ll be spinning.

The album, Michael, will be released next Tuesday.

Michael's words from one of the first channeled messages keep repeating in my head ever since this news of the latest album broke and now the autopsy show:

"...there are no more pieces left to grab..."

"...there are no more pieces (of Michael )left to grab..."

the message is clear...

:(((

NOT THE CASE WHEN IT COMES TO SONY...
DESPICABLE

for HOLD MY HAND
The opening line of the track is: 'This life don't last forever'

I took a mental note of that one too!!!

KNOWING THAT MICHAEL WAS MURDERED, HOW CAN ANYONE EVEN CONSIDER BUYING THIS ALBUM IS BEYOND COMPREHENSION.

(and if you think that is just a lovely black heart with red roses at the end of the video - think again, do your research about who and what it truly represents)

Bonnie, I don't understand why so many of Michael's fans don't know what to do or what is best regarding whether or not to support future albums. From what I have observed on the Sony site and the IMDb, some of them want to 'help' the Estate because they believe it will help Michael's children. Some of them want to keep Michael at the #1 position as long as possible when upcoming albums are released. Some consider the Estate the 'good guys' while considering Katherine and/or Joe the 'bad guys.'

About all I can say is that those who truly have made an effort to personally understand Michael in some ways will see some things quite clearly and will have no doubts about the right course of action. Some fans confuse their own wants, needs and desires with what they imagine Michael's would be, perhaps.

Irina, while Michael stated that there are no more pieces left to grab, he was actually mistaken. As we have seen, there are letters; garments he wore; personal artifacts once in his possession that have been auctioned; personal and professional relationships he had with various people who have profited financially by selling their stories and photographs to magazines, TV shows and tabloids; personal and private recording sessions that Michael never authorized for release, but have been edited, altered and released anyway; and even his own children, who are a part of Michael in their own way, have been 'sold' and 'auctioned' to Oprah and the tabloids.

I'm sorry, Micheal, but the reality is that there ARE still pieces left to grab. We are witnessing the pillaging as I type this, and this has been going on steadily since you left this plane for another.

The whole situation is thoroughly disgusting.

My observations lead me to conclude that many fans are misled as they do not grasp the true situation with the estate and the kids. They do not grasp where the divider lies.

There is also a good percentage out there that simply know the man and his music and that is all they know. This group is not aware of the story which has been taking shape behind the scenes.

But for the album they are actually targeting a whole new fan base. I mentioned this in one of my posts yesterday that it is this generation of YOUNG CHILDREN AND TEENS they are interested in. These are the future fans of future albums. The children are a clean slate for them.

They are playing on the very same strings they "officially" persecuted Michael for, his love of children. You can see the message clearly in the video.

As for my use of Michael's comment. It was a metaphor for "leave him be...ENOUGH!"

I have no doubt Michael is very aware of the legacy and possessions he has left behind.

"Disgusting" is right.

Hi Jane, Irina, Carmen and everyone,

I was asked about this privately and perhaps my answer will help others.

There are 2 questions in my opinion.

Would Michael want unfinished work put out with other people filling in the blanks and high amounts of electronic manipulation to make a commercially successful song?

The answer is NO and Michael stated himself his work was about art not dollars. He channeled his work and honored the source. These are his words while very much alive and able to speak for himself.

If you can get past the first question which I cannot, the 2nd question would be: Would Michael want Sony to be the label.

He has answered that question as well.

It really does not matter what percentage of the songs are Michael. They are not 100% and do not honor the source and the art.

I hope this helps!

Thank you, Bonnie.

Quoting Michael from "Moonwalk," we can come to understand Michael's extremely high artistic standards and driven perfectionist nature. Citing page 262: "Why did it take so long to make BAD? The answer is that Quincy and I decided that this album should be as close to perfect as humanly possible. A perfectionist has to take his time; he shapes and he molds and he sculpts that thing until it's perfect. He can't let it go before he's satisfied; he can't. "

"If it's not right, you throw it away and do it over. You work that thing till it's just right. When it's as perfect as you can make it, you put it out there. Really, you've got to get it to where it's just right; that's the secret. That's the difference between a number thirty record and a number one record that stays number one for weeks. It's got to be good. If it is, it stays up there and the whole world wonders when it's going to come down."

Granted, Michael had help in writing this book, but I think it's safe to say that his spirit, his essence, his values and his core beliefs are contained, to some fair degree, in "Moonwalk." This isn't a channeled message, but it IS Michael's message to the public and his fans regarding his artistic integrity. I've had the urge to quote him in this regard, so I did so.

For anyone interested in separating the facts from fiction, I did a search on Getty Images, and there ARE official paparazzi photographs of Michael Jackson (with two body guards) from Thalia Sodi's and Tommy Mottola's wedding, dated December 2, 2000. So, it IS a fact that he attended their wedding. However, his feud with Mottola was publicized in July 2002, and did not end before Michael's death, nor did it end in the time frame Thalia describes. Michael Jackson and Tommy Mottola didn't make their peace with each other prior to Michael's death, contrary to what Thalia would have us believe.

Personally, I don't believe for one second that they ever reconciled.

As it's difficult for some people to access images and links from Getty, I am uploading some scans from printed pages. Getty does allow a preview print, so I used that feature. This shows proof that Michael did attend the wedding, as Thalia stated, so I will give her credit for that.

I am going to stress something that's extremely important to me personally in terms of searching for the truth: It is often difficult to separate truth from lies. Critical thinking skills and careful evaluation of the information being presented are highly important. In my experience, the most dangerous people are not the ones who lie outright and openly. The most dangerous people are those who mix truth with lies, so that it becomes extremely difficult to separate fact from fiction.

So, yes, Thalia spoke the truth about Michael attending her wedding. I will give her credit for that because, to be honest, I assumed and believed she was lying about his attendance at this event. After spotting a thread regarding this topic (Mottola and Thalia's wedding) on the Sony site, I decided to do some research, and as a certain poster there accurately pointed out, Thalia lied regarding the time frame in which she claimed Michael and Tommy reconciled. Her slip up occurred when she intertwined her wedding event with the alleged reconciliation. Yes, in the search for truth, such distinctions are critical.

Edited to Add: I scanned two versions of both printed images, in case one version was sharper and easier to read on some computers than others. Hopefully, Getty won't have an issue with this type of printing and scanning documentation. If so, then I'll remove the links.

Warmly,

The Backlash Against Michael Jackson's Posthumous Release

Now that Michael Jackson's posthumous release "Michael" is out in stores, critics and fans are starting to chew it over. The result thus far is a collective gag. Hardcore fans are picketing Sony (its record label) and those close to MJ say it should never have been released. Witness the backlash:

MJ Album 'Disgusts' Will.i.am In an interview with Rolling Stone, the Black Eyed Peas frontman had harsh words for the Sony release. "I knew this man. And he was very critical about every single detail. He stood in the studio himself, mastering and mixing everything," he says. "He wasn't there to do his micro-Michael-managing that he did with 'Thriller' and 'Billie Jean.' It disgusts me."

Michael's Father Hates It, notes Sher Warkentin at Gather:

The most surprising outcry ... has got to be from Michael Jackson's own father, who believes, like the Black Eyed Peas' Will.i.am, that "Michael" should never have been released. It is no secret that Michael Jackson had an estranged relationship with his father so it's certainly nice to see Joe Jackson taking a stance to defend his sons legacy.

Fans Protest, reports an ABC news affiliate in California:

It's an Utter Disgrace, writes Chris Richards at The

Washington Post:
The singer obviously had no hand in the final product here, but many of these tunes are bland enough to make you wonder if he had any hand in it at all ... The real Michael Jackson was a perfectionist who loved to burnish every note that came out of his lungs ... "Michael" is an album of unfinished songs that Jackson would never want us to hear. And that's a drag because we're probably going to be hearing this stuff for the rest of the decade. The Jackson estate has reportedly signed a $250 million deal that should pump posthumous albums into the marketplace for the next seven Christmases, at least.

This controversy with the album has split the old and new fans in halves. I myself have not decided to give up on the truth like many of you. I'm worned out with other fans on the forums and I just hate seeing how the manipulation has taken over them.

I'm not surprised that Michael is Mortified.
