I was hoping for something meatier than microbes... more complex organisms perhaps... isn't it a given that microbes can be located in all kinds of locales... they can survive all kinds of conditions... microbes are some of the most ancient living organisms that exist.
Thanks for the update and do keep posting any of the other tidbits there are Mike.
I felt disappointed, not at all what I was expecting. Perhaps we should have had a clue. Something of major significance would be announced by the POTUS, not a group of biochemists. After the discloure from the Air Force Officers on UFO, I have been waiting for a major disclosure and I was sort of hope that would be it. This feels like teasing. Who cares about microbes...We already knew they grew under all types of condition, I failed to see the excitement. What is the purpose and the meaning of this? It would have been enough to publish this in a scientific magazine. Nasa is really going broke, they want the public to support their fundings, I guess this is the purpose for going public through the media on CNN to announce that microbes substitute phosphorus to grow in an environment that contains arsenic... Okay enough ranting and venting for being disapointed.
Thank you Bonnie for posting. I really appreciate your gesture, you have been most generous. I am just disappointed about not hearing from our Martians friends or Venusians, the Andromedans, the Greys or even the Draco/reptilians factions, although we ran the risk of being eaten alive by those reptilians (ran for the hills with those last ones)
Okay I am not going crazy, just want to make you guys smile a little because I know many of you are as disappointed as I am. I guess any news would have been better then microbes or so I think. In the mean time we have to continue holding our breath for the big news. ---------- With L.O.V.E, Anne
