Seems like the Yankee Jim story is getting clearer with this new information. Interesting information about the markers and the possible methods used to execute in those days. It appears that the legend is being perpetuated with the removal of the markers.
Times have changed with regards to how punishment is carried out in this country. As well as the degree of punishment relative to the crime.
I am wondering whether Thomas Whaley on the whole feels better about the situation with Yankee Jim now? I realize this is not his only concern.
I still want to view the tape again as I watched it really late at night last time and need to recall some details before discussing this more and the other channellings.
All very fascinating though. Especially the process.

Hi Irina,
I am receiving fewer reports from the people who visit the house. I think we are having a positive effect.
Living people deserve the truth too. Generically speaking when you visit an allegedly haunted location you receive the legend. This can be very different from the historic record. These legends become part of a marketing plan to bring in visitors. They certainly do not benefit the spirit person or their descendants if the stories are unsavory and untrue.
I purposely use the term "spirit person". I think living people need to be reminded they are just like us.

Bonnie I just listened to my Yankee Jim DVD. Pretty fascinating...the grave markers and their disappearance...hmmmm very interesting! Would love to hear if you get any new information. It happened so long ago, it's hard to imagine who and what they are trying to keep under cover.
Loved the second segment. Watching it makes me want to visit to that hotel some day. I think you called it The Cosmopolitan??? The staff had some very interesting paranormal activity to share. The locks on the door really caught my attention. WOW... When you and John were sitting in room 5, if my memory is correct, I loved watching you being contacted by the spirit people and then communicating their thoughts. Very intriguing!!!
Wished they'd caught your dance on tape, the Tarantella, right? Would have loved to have seen you dance around the room with your eyes closed and not hit a thing. You were very light on your feet Bonnie.

Hi Jane,
I am glad you enjoyed the DVD. I do plan to go back to the Cosmopolitan and do more work there. It is a very interesting place.
John and I were locked in briefly in room 11. I can tell you first hand the door locking reports are absolutely true.
