Political Circus: will.i.am's halftime message to Obama
February 07, 2011|By Ed Hornick, CNN
The Black Eyed Peas perform during the Super Bowl XLV halftime show Sunday. Politics is serious business -- but not all the time.
Tonight's (not) going to be a good night for ...
President Obama, that's who.
During Sunday's Super Bowl XLV halftime show featuring the Black Eyed Peas, singer will.i.am addressed the president in the hit song "Where Is the Love?"
"It wasn't quite a wardrobe malfunction, but Will.i.am had an off-script Super Bowl moment of his own during the Black Eyed Peas' performance on Sunday night. The singer delivered a message to President Obama by changing three lines to his band's hit "Where Is The Love?" during the 15-minute medley:
'In America we need to get things straight / Obama, let's get these kids educated / Create jobs so the country stays stimulated.'"
Although I am not a football fan, I happened to have been invited to watch the Superbowl at a friend's house. The entire performance had a very humanoid theme. You may recall that there is a transhumanist agenda behind this.
And yes, I am wondering the same about Obama. Hmmmm... is right.
Love, Irina
Oh and P.S. Yes, I think Will.i.am is great too. BEP are a very polished act at this stage of their career. I felt that they struggled with the acoustics during the performance. Not sure if this was mentioned anywhere else.
