Thank you, Bonnie, for the video and updates. I'm sitting here reading and watching this, and I can't believe this is happening. I'm also thinking of a Japanese friend of my mother's who lives in Japan. She is about the same age as my mother. I'm going to have to send her an e-mail to see if she's okay.

And here we go! Start making the connections. . .

Maybe it's natural causes of solar flares and the moon, or maybe it's man made.

When I take the information The Connection has presented through Bonnie Vent, and I combine it with current events and the two videos I posted in this thread, I reach the following conclusion: We are being 'prepared' for at least one MAJOR 'natural' - or not so natural (i.e. literally man-made) disaster in the not too distant future. Some of these 'natural' disasters may well be natural and actually have to do with normal geological changes taking place on the Earth, combined with the alignment of the Earth with the sun, our other planets in the solar system, and the center of our galaxy. However, between the FEMA camps and coffin liners piling up in the hundreds of thousands in the United States, along with the technology to create 'natural' disasters, I think we are being 'prepared' for something major. The Connection has spoken of this through Bonnie. They mentioned that preparations are being made to receive many souls or spirits.

I sense that what's coming will be both natural and man-made. This isn't any great insight on my part as I'm sure many members, readers and lurkers have also connected the dots as I have. I just felt the need to express it. This is the one time I can honestly say that I was led to certain videos. It came through a friend via e-mail, and I took the time to watch the first one I posted, which led me to watch the second one. Bear in mind that the above videos were uploaded back in 2008 or 2009, I believe.

I've also noticed that a number of warfare/battle/explosion movies are coming out very soon. Epic films featuring epic disasters with epic special effects. Look around you. You don't need to go to a movie theater to witness epic disasters. Art is imitating life.

Thanks for your posts of Benjamin Fulford's video statements above, Carmen. And thank you for all of the updates, Bonnie.

While watching the news yesterday I observed that the reporters were being shooed by local authorities.

The claim was that another wave may be coming but they did not seem to chase the locals. So wondering what their actions may signify.

One possible explanation is the culture. Perhaps not wanting to be seen in a state of disarray and confusion, especially with the reactors going of.
Or could these actions be in any way related to what Benjamin Fulford is stating?

Whatever the case maybe the state of affairs there looks very bleak. It is heartbreaking to see the magnitude of the devastation considering they are a fairly small country.

Is Dr. Kaku psychic? On December 30, 2010 he was on Good Morning America with Robin Roberts and makes a prediction that we could see a city leveled in our lifetime. One of the city's listed: Tokyo. Of course the fallout is heading to some of the other cities mentioned in this piece.

FEMA had declared 2010 the deadliest year and GMA wanted to know if 2011 would be better. Dr. Kaku said we would see 2013. He is correct for most people but not all will see 2013. Listen carefully to what he is saying and realize it is playing out RIGHT NOW.

http://abcnews.go.com/International/japan-earthquake-fukushima-nuclear-reactors-deteriorate-explosions-fuel/story?id=13131123

A series of nuclear reactors continue to deteriorate in the wake of Japan's devastating earthquake and tsunami, raising worries of a nuclear meltdown.

"They continue to work hard to raise the water level to cover the fuel. Let's pray again," Tatsujiro Suzuki, vice chairman of Japan's Atomic Energy Commission, posted on Facebook today.

The fuel rods on unit 2 have been fully exposed for the second time today, a dangerous development in the effort to stop the reactor from melting down. Japanese officials said that a closed steam vent has caused a dip in the water levels, allowing the rods to be exposed.

The exposure of the fuel rods means that the temperature in the reactor is likely to rise, which will allow it to make steam. The steam could lead to the creation of hydrogen and cause another explosion, experts said.

Knowing how long the fuel rods have been exposed is key to understanding if there is a real chance of a meltdown, said Dr. Peter Hosemann, a nuclear energy expert and professor at the University of California at Berkeley.

"Having too much of the fuel rods exposed for too long of a time can lead to the core melt. Again, if a core melt happens, the reactor pressure vessel and the containment are designed to contain it," Hosemann said.

Japanese officials acknowledged that the fuel rods appear to be melting inside all three of the reactors at the Fukashima plant.

"Although we cannot directly check it, it's highly likely happening," Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano told the Associated Press.

Officials first became concerned about unit 2 at the plant after pressure began rising in the reactor. They began pouring sea water onto the reactor Monday morning.

Workers had to stop pouring the sea water when they discovered that the reactor was also losing fuel, meaning that the fuel rods were exposed, NHK News reported.

Workers had returned to pumping sea water when the fuel rods were exposed for a second time.

While unit 1, the first reactor to explode at the plant, appears to be stable, unit 3, which exploded early Monday morning in Japan, reportedly has a leak in its bottom.

"We've never encountered this type of situation in history before," said Joe Cirincione, a nuclear policy expert. "We are beyond a reactor crisis at this point. This is a nuclear system crisis. The entire northern part of the Japanese nuclear power system has been delivered a body blow."

The leak at unit 3 is making it difficult to keep the core of the reactor covered with sea water, Dr. Michio Kaku, a physicist, said.

"The situation is getting worse by the hour. We haven't hit bottom yet... We now have reports that unit 3 suffered perhaps a 90 percent uncovering of the core -- this is unprecedented since Chernobyl," Kaku said.

Japanese officials insist that things are under control at the nuclear plant and that radiation levels are safe.

"They haven't stabilized the sea water yet. Remember, they're hanging in there right there with the fingernails. This is how close we are to a full-scale meltdown. So it's stable in the sense that you're stable when you're hanging by your fingernails," Kaku said.

Japan Tests Fukushima Evacuees for Radiation Exposure
A trip to Japan's emergency command center revealed officials re-watching the explosion at the Fukushima plant. A gray plume of smoke could be seen rising from unit 3 on the command center's television.

The explosion of unit 3 injured 11 workers on Monday and could be felt as far as 25 miles away.

The Japanese government continues to test the nearly 180,000 people evacuated from around the Fukushima plant for exposure to radiation.

In the town of Koriyama, lines of families waited to be tested today.

Medical teams wearing white suits used Geiger counters and silver hand-held scanners to check everyone, aiming the scanners at little children holding their hands out.

One little girl clung to her Winnie the Pooh toy before being checked by the medical team.

The mother of the girl told ABC News that her family is OK but that surviving Japan's worst earthquake and massive tsunami has been like living through hell.

At least 100 people tested positive for exposure to radiation.

Radiation detected by U.S. helicopters flying 60 miles from the Japanese shore prompted the repositioning of the USS Ronald Reagan and seven other U.S. Navy ships, military officials said.

ABC News' Luis Martinez, Lauren Pearle and the Associated Press contributed to this report.

Am I wrong or was George Stephanopoulos's "White House does not seem to be yet in any kind of red alert status?" question in the above interview kind of not answered directly.

Sounds like a wait and see and let the Japanese handle it approach being used. Question is can they and should they be handling it alone?

Hi Irina,

I think perhaps that has changed since our US ships off the coast of Japan have been moved away. Apparently the helicopters bringing in food and water hit a radioactive plume 60 miles off the coast. It is estimated that it will take 7 days for the fallout to hit the west coast of the United States.

Many feel the media is downplaying all of this. The experts however are yelling red alert as are people who know the history of other events that were less severe.

Once again I hope I am wrong; but facts are facts. If there was no danger the US ships would not have been moved. This could also explain the "wait and see" attitude. If this is as bad as I am hearing there is not much we can do.

Of course the administration is also pro nuclear power. There is a lot of money on the line to say it is safe. I would believe Dr. Kaku over a bureaucrat any day.

IMHO,
Bonnie

Thanks for these Bonnie. Very interesting! 3-11-11...a day to remember for sure. What we're seeing in MSM is shocking & terrifying enough; however knowing that the reality of it is most likely far worse than what wer're hearing, is a staggering thought indeed!

I can't seem to get much done today, as I just keep flipping between TV news, and checking for what's new here. The nuclear status reposrts change minute by minute. It's certainly not boring ~

A third explosion has been heard at a quake-stricken Japanese nuclear power plant, the country's nuclear safety agency confirmed.

There was no immediate word on exact damage from the blast, which tore through the unit 2 structure at the Fukushima Daiichi complex.
Two previous explosions occurred in buildings housing unit 1 and 3 reactors following last Friday's massive earthquake and tsunami.
At a news conference plant operators said all non-essential workers were being evacuated from the damaged facility as others continue to struggle with faulty coolant systems in the three reactors.
I think the situation is still very, very grim - we are by far not over the worst
Olli Heinonen, former deputy director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency
Japan has asked the US for help to stop the American-designed reactors plunging into uncontrollable meltdown.
The latest blast occurred after cooling water dropped repeatedly in unit 2, with the nuclear fuel rods partially exposed - risking an overheat of up to a temperature of 2,200 degrees Celsius.
Damage to the hermetically-sealed reactor container dramatically increases the risk of serious radiation leaks.

Third Reactor Explodes, Full Scale Nuclear Catastrophe Imminent

Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
March 14, 2011

A third reactor has exploded at the number 2 reactor at the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant. The blast follows an explosion Monday morning at the number 3 reactor and one on Saturday in the number 1 unit.

The Tokyo Electric Power Company had tried a last ditch effort to cool and reduce pressure in the over-heated reactors in units one and three by injecting seawater earlier today and over the weekend.

On Monday, Japan’s chief cabinet secretary Yukio Edano officially announced the cooling system on the third reactor had failed. The water level inside the reactor fell and exposed the fuel rods at its core for more than two hours despite efforts to pump seawater into the reactor, he said.

Government officials have finally admitted to the public that the fuel rods in all three separate reactors have started to melt despite repeated efforts to cool them with sea water. Safety officials are now saying they cannot rule out a full meltdown and the inevitability of a nuclear catastrophe of a magnitude never before experienced.

hi Chaturi,

Although I really do not want to give into those possibilities.

Yes, the strategic location of this event does make one wonder if this was chance or targeted.

Mike, I agree.

I feel Michio Kaku is right. They need to bury these reactors for good to stop them from doing any more damage.

By all appearances they are already irreversibly damaged. What are they waiting for?

I hope after all this people push to use environmentally friendly alternative ways of power such as wind turbines and solar power instead of this nuclear dangerous stuff and get rid of the nuclear there are lots of ways to power things that is free like the wind power and solar power the International Space Station uses solar with the arrays it has and it runs great and its all solar powered. Not to sound political because I am not in to politics to me its arguing and drama but I have been hearing on the news that republicans are pushing to use nuclear plants for power and I am totally against nuclear power look at all the damage its doing. Also I don't usually watch news or media but this is serious.

I also found this on the news with Michio Kaku sorry I couldn't add the vid embedding was disabled but you can follow the link to it Michio discusses the incident.

This video was released BEFORE the one I posted above, but I found the comments about how gun control and banking news was rather conveniently released at THIS particular time. While everyone is focused on THIS disaster, other things are being secretly or quietly passed into law or shoved under the carpet without the public's knowledge or awareness.

I know not everyone here likes Alex Jones or trusts him, but I personally do trust him and respect his reporting and commenting. His reporting style turns some people off, but I try to focus on the information he provides rather than his delivery.

Nuclear Crisis: Rising Radiation Levels Halt Work at Fukushima Plant
Experts Say Nuclear Emergency Nearing 'Point of no Return'

By DAVID MUIR, JESSICA HOPPER, LEEZEL TANGLAO and BEN FORER
March 16, 2011

Surging radiation levels temporarily halted work to cool the troubled reactors at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, raising worries that officials are running out of options to stabilize the escalating catastrophe.

"We're very close now to the point of no return," Dr. Michio Kaku, a theoretical physicist, said. "It's gotten worse. We're talking about workers coming into the reactor perhaps as a suicide mission and we may have to abandon ship."

A group of 180 workers rotate shifts working at the plant in teams of 50 men. The men have been nicknamed the "Fukushima Fifty."

When radiation levels surged following a fire at Unit 4 and a rising cloud of radioactive vapor from unit 3, officials deemed it too risky for the plant workers to continue their critical work of pumping sea water on the damaged reactors and fuel ponds.

"The workers cannot carry out even minimal work at the plant now," Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano told the Associated Press. "Because of the radiation risk we are on standby."

Radiation levels were as high as 10 millisieverts per hour today, the equivalent of getting a CT scan for every hour of exposure. Radiation levels have since dropped and the plant workers are planning to return to work, officials said.

The Japanese government has actually amended its national safety standard on how much radiation workers can be exposed to so that workers can return to the plant. The limit is now 250 millisieverts, 2.5 times the previous limit.

In the aftermath of the 9.0 magnitude earthquake and tsunami, the growing fear of a nuclear meltdown has spread throughout Japan.

Emperor Akihito, a figure deeply respected in Japan, spoke for the first time since the Mar. 11 earthquake that has left at least 4,340 people dead. He tried to ease worries about the country's nuclear crisis.

"With the help of those involved I hope things will not get worse," Akihito, 77, said.

He offered his condolences to a grieving nation where at least 9,083 people are still missing and 434,00 are homeless.

"It is important that each of us shares the difficult days that lie ahead," Akihito said. "I pray that we will all take care of each other and overcome this tragedy."

In another sign of escalating nuclear danger, Cabinet Secretary Edano acknowledged that the containment vessels of some of the reactors are likely damaged. The Japan Atomic Industrial Forum confirmed damage to Units 2 and 3.

The last step in a nuclear meltdown is the breaching of the containment vessels. The fact that at least two containment vessels are damaged makes nuclear experts nervous.

"We have cracks now, cracks in the containment vessels...and if those cracks grow or if there's an explosion, we're talking a full blown Chernobyl, something beyond Chernobyl," Kaku said.

Japan Aborts Helicopter Mission Over Damaged Fukushima Plant
Some scientists believe that the accident level at the troubled plant should be escalated to a level 6, just one level lower than Chernobyl and two levels higher than the accident at Three Mile Island.

"I think the last ace in the hole is the Japanese Air Force, the military at some point may have to take over, may have to bury these reactors in concrete just like we did at Chernobyl, sandbagging the reactor with 5,000 tons of concrete, boric acid and sand," Kaku said.

Earlier today, government officials called off a plan for helicopters to dump seawater on the troubled reactors because of the heightened radiation levels.

The Japanese government has asked for the United States' help in the crisis.

Already, seven additional experts from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission arrived in Japan today.

United States government officials told ABC News that they are considering sending in a special nuclear team made up of hundreds of civilians and military personnel to help in stabilizing the reactors. The special team was created in the United States after Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

At least 140,000 people in the 12 mile radius around the plant have been evacuated. Those in a 12 to 19 mile radius of the plant have been ordered to stay indoors.

The mayor of Minami Soma, a town within that radius, said that residents are being stigmatized, Japanese broadcaster NHK reported.

"We are being labeled as contaminated lepers," he said.

The mayor said that drivers are refusing to transport supplies to them, NHK reported.

As Japan continues its rescue efforts, strong aftershocks continue to jolt the nation. Two aftershocks of magnitude 6.0 have hit Japan in the last 24 hours.

The Japanese are also bracing for a cold snap. Rain and snow is expected in the north. The worry for some is whether the snow will be radioactive.

ABC News' Jim Hill, Juju Chang, Martha Raddatz, Luis Martinez, Lauren Pearle, Sunlen Miller and The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Thank you, Suzanne, for your honesty about your thoughts and feelings. I just want you to know that DO respect your feelings. That's all I have time to say right now while I'm at work on my morning break.

Many people are ignorant about Michael. Some can and will learn more about him in the weeks and years to come, and they may change their opinions and perceptions about him. Others will NEVER change their views on him. That is human nature. Alex Jones, like everyone else, can be very right and accurate about some things while being completely off or mistaken about others. He's human.

Thank you for the heads up about him in regards to Michael. I appreciate it.

Note: If you live in California like I do you will find this video interesting and perhaps of great concern.

I live about 65 miles from the San Onofre power plant. It was built to handle a 6.5 earthquake. MSM cannot figure out why California is so scared since the fallout from Japan is so far away. However, the west coast of the US is also on the ring of fire, just like Japan. We did experience a massive fish kill of what this expert refers to as "earthquake fish".

You read my mind with your Bahrain comment above Bonnie.

Timing is everything, isn't it?

All too convenient how certain activities and world events slip by the general public when others are being persistently flashed at us.

Edited to add:
Bonnie, you've also guessed my next question with the above posted video. I am concerned for everyone on the West coast. Of course there are friends and family there too.

My feeling is that all of the planet is already affected in one form or another. It is just a matter of time until we see the long-term fallout.

I have to watch the video still. Almost afraid to do so...

Thank you! as always for all of the updates.

U.S. Officials Alarmed By Japanese Handling of Nuclear Crisis
U.S. Officials Fear Fukushima Could Become 'Deadly For Decades'

BY MARTHA RADDATZ
March 16, 2011

U.S. officials are alarmed at how the Japanese are handling the escalating nuclear reactor crisis and fear that if they do not get control of the plants within the next 24 to 48 hours they could have a situation that will be "deadly for decades."

"It would be hard to describe how alarming this is right now," one U.S. official told ABC News.

President Obama has been briefed by nuclear experts.

The Japanese have evacuated most of the reactor personnel from the Fukushima nuclear complex and are rotating teams of 50 workers through the facility in an attempt to cool it down.

"We are all-out urging the Japanese to get more people back in there to do emergency operation there, that the next 24 to 48 hours are critical," the official said. "Urgent efforts are needed on the part of the Japanese to restore emergency operations to cool" down the reactors' rods before they trigger a meltdown.

"They need to stop pulling out people—and step up with getting them back in the reactor to cool it. There is a recognition this is a suicide mission," the official said.

The official said the United States is in very deep consultations with Japanese about the way forward and that the only thing that has been favorable is the wind pattern that is blowing the contaminated material out to sea instead south towards Tokyo and other populated areas, but that can't be counted upon.

The U.S. official says experts believe there is a rupture in two, maybe three of the six reactors at the Fukushima power plant, but as worrisome is the fact that spent fuel rods are now exposed to the air, which means that substances like cesium, which have a long half-life, could become airborne.

"That could be deadly for decades," the official said.

There is a growing concern around the world that a nuclear catastrophic disaster is in the works.

"There is talk of an apocalypse and I think the word is particularly well chosen," European Union's energy commissioner Günther Oettinger said today, according to various reports. "Practically everything is out of control. I cannot exclude the worst in the hours and days to come."

The United States has instituted a 50-mile evacuation zone for U.S. forces and American citizens from the Fukushima power plant, four times the size of Japan's 12-mile evacuation zone. Only exceptions that are made are for relief missions.

"Recently the NRC made a recommendation that based on the available information that we have, that for a comparable situation in the United States, we would recommend an evacuation to a much larger radius than has currently been provided in Japan," Nuclear Regulatory Commission Chairman Greg Jaczko said at a hearing of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee.

Jaczko said of the four plants that are endangered at the Fukushima site, there has been a hydrogen explosion at one unit and secondary containment has been destroyed.

"We believe radiation levels are extremely high, which could possibly impact ability to take corrective measures," he said.

U.S. analysis show that some of the radiation from the Fukushima nuclear power plant has drifted northward and out to sea, officials say, but the country is hardly clear of danger.

U.S. Fears Japan's Crisis Could Be Worse Than Chernobyl
Thousands of people flocked to Tokyo's Narita Airport today amid rising concerns of a radioactive fallout.

The head of the U.S. Department of Energy said today that the nuclear disaster unfolding in Japan could be worse than the 1979 Three Mile Island accident in Pennsylvania that dampened Americans' view of nuclear power plants for decades to come.

"Events unfolding in the Japan incidents appear to be more serious than Three Mile Island. To what extent, we don't know that. They are unfolding hour by hour," Energy Secretary Steven Chu said earlier today at the hearing.

Chu's assessment is in line with views expressed by many experts, some of whom even believe the Japan crisis could be worse than the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster in Ukraine that left hundreds sick and killed several from radiation.

The United States has deployed thousands of military and civilian staff to assist the Japanese in dealing with the aftermath of the earthquake and the resulting tsunami, which has killed thousands.

To date there have been 113 helicopter missions and 125 fixed wing missions. More than 129,000 pounds of water and 4,200 pounds of food have been delivered .

The Department of Energy and Nuclear Regulatory Commission has sent teams of U.S. experts to assess the nuclear situation.

U.S. aid to Japan has reached nearly $5.9 million, with total planned assistance amounting to $8 million. USAID says the primary humanitarian needs on the ground remain food, safe drinking water, blankets, medical supplies, fuel, and sanitation infrastructure.

Japan Nuclear Crisis: High Radiation Hampers Efforts to Cool Fukushima Reactors

Japanese Hope New Power Line Will Restore Electricity to Nuclear Plant's Cooling System

By DAVID MUIR, JESSICA HOPPER, LEEZEL TANGLAO and BEN FORER
March 17, 2011

Japanese officials appear to be pondering their next moves as frantic and increasingly desperate efforts to cool the overheating Fukushima nuclear reactors and fuel ponds have failed to bring the plant under control.

Water cannons, trucks and helicopters were used Thursday to dump seawater on the Northern Japan plant, which was damaged following last week's 9.0 earthquake and tsunami.

The 11 water cannons were deemed a failure by officials, Japanese broadcaster NHK reported. High radiation forced the water cannons to a location too far away from the plant to be effective.

Two CH-47 Chinook helicopters dumped seawater over damaged unit 3. No significant changes in radiation were detected following the flights. Much of the water appeared to disappear in the wind as it was dropped.

Fire trucks were also used to spray water on the reactor. Unit 3 is suffering from both a damaged reactor and a spent-fuel pond where the temperature is rising.

"It's like a squirt gun, using a squirt gun against a raging forest fire. They're overwhelmed, they're floundering, they don't know what to do" Dr. Michio Kaku, a theoretical physicist, said.

The water trucks and helicopters were used in part because radiation levels are dangerously high for workers to be directly in the plant for extended periods.

"At a certain point, they're going to have to abandon ship, they're committing a suicide mission to go in there. The radiation levels are near lethal right now…you're committing suicide to spend large amount of time there," Kaku said.

Even the helicopter pilots were in danger by flying over the plant, Kaku said. During the Chernobyl crisis, Kaku said that helicopter pilots that helped sandbag the reactors had lead underneath their helicopters to help avoid radiation contamination.

Japanese officials hope that a new power line will be completed today. The cable would supply reliable electricity to the motors, valves and pumps that keep the reactors cool.

Experts worry that it could take another three or four days to restore the power once the new line is completed.

There is increasing worry about unit 4 where a fuel pond is dangerously overheating.

America's top nuclear official told Congress Wednesday that the pool cooling spent fuel rods in Unit 4 at the crippled Japanese nuclear plant had lost most or all of its water, a potentially catastrophic situation.

Interesting Project Camelot interview

And to Carmen's point of what happens while we are focused elsewhere, the UN has approved 10-0 a no-fly zone over Libya. This is an act of war.

Is japan collapsing upon its own volcanic vents... are the vents filling with water and collapsing upon their own weight? The island has fallen over to the east by several feet, and the wall / ridge that holds the entire area up is clearly crumbling / collapsing..

below i've included the animation which shows this occuring ... all quakes since march 11, 2011

Wow, this is startling information.

A few days before the quake in Japan I was having flippy/floppy feelings that something was up. And honestly, I can't yet say they've faded much. Even after the quake I have a sense that 'another shoe' could be about to drop.

I have the same sense Susanna. It is shocking! I had no concept of what Japan could be faceing next, according to this video. I've heard talk on Coast to Coast radio & elsewhere of a possible big one along the Madrid fault, ie. between Arkansas & Tennessee and or in the Los Angeles area.

As he said, much love is needed in these times ~
